As noted elsewhere on the forum, Walter Bowart's classic study OPERATION MIND CONTROL was re-released in the mid 90's in an expanded edition featuring new research and many new chapters. This expanded edition was printed in a limited run of 500 copies and has proven very difficult to find.

The Concen conspiracy forum - a UK-based research site devoted to sharing rare and out-of-print materials (along with materials less rare) uploaded a complete PDF scan of Bowart's expanded edition a few months back. I downloaded it and set about retyping it into a new Word document in the hope of eventually presenting a perfectly readable edition (reformatted in InDesign) with new typesetting and print values to aid in comprehension. That version won't be ready for some time though, so in the interest of making the research available I've uploaded that original Concen PDF to the Scribd document sharing site, where anyone can read it, and download it. If I'm able to eventually complete the reformatted edition I'll make a note of it here. This currently available edition however is perfectly readable and should prove of value to those who have been waiting to see it. The original PDF file was quite large - this revised edition of Bowart's book is more than 800 pages long - so be patient with this document if it takes a little while to load.

I'd very much like to download it and have a membership, but don't see a place for 'download' only to view it page by page.

Same here.
I'm not sure what's going on as in the Scribd settings as I've marked it as available for free download, but I see what you mean. I'll try to find out what's going on. If anyone knows of any free file-sharing sites similar to Megaupload that can accept large files (this one is around 120mb) I'm happy to upload it there.

I'm no expert on Scribd, but I do believe you can set it somehow for download.....try that first. It clearly says Tags:
This document has no tags.
Free download as or read online for free
...you have only set the wrong options, I think.
The tag field only describes things (i.e 'CIA', 'conspiracy theories', 'mind control'), whereas Scribd has other settings internally that let you choose whether a doc can be downloadable or not, and I've marked all those correctly. Either Scribd is still processing the document or something else is going on. I'll try and figure it out and will upload it again tonight if need be to see if that fixes it.

Thanks...it is an important document and rare as they get.....
Please post when you find a solution, reading all 800 pages on a screen is not going to work, nor does that preserve in on our computers. I think it is just a matter of the settings/permissions on scribd, but if not there are other places. LET US KNOW! Thanks.
I'm trying a couple of file-sharing sites for starters. The first one is here -

http://www.4shared.com/office/NU3QiGkv/O...Resea.html

and it has a download button but does request you register a free account with them to get access - just an email address will do it. A second sharing site is proving problematic so I'll try another one (or more) tomorrow.

This worked quite nicely. Thanks.
