- Was he spotted by Oliver with White on or near the GK?
- What was his involvement in the elimination of LHO and access for Ruby to do it?

Dallas Police Department Sergeant Patrick Dean was in the Dallas police headquarters' basement during the fatal transfer of Lee Harvey Oswald. He told the Warren Commission that Jack Ruby, whom he questioned on November 26, 1963, told him he had decided to kill Oswald two days earlier, which contradicts the later statement of Jack Ruby as well as the Commission's conclusions, according to which Ruby had spontaneously decided to kill Oswald. Dean was an old friend of Jack Ruby.

Dean is obviously cognizant of Ruby's incestuous relationship to the Dallas Police Department. He's dodging telling what he knows about Ruby at every turn. He's obviously aware of Ruby's access to the Police Station because of his familiarity with the Dallas Police at the Carousel. He also obviously knows that this could have led to his being allowed in to the police station and maybe more.

From the hindsight of history you can see what Dean is aware of and what he is dodging. He knows Ruby was a Dallas Police regular and that it stinks to high heaven and he's protecting himself.

The entire Dallas Police Department should be indicted for complicitous involvement in the assassination cover-up. Well, except for Craig.

Sgt. Dean had some strange connections, and like several others he was
at multiple KEY spots after the assassination (perhaps during as well
in one case).

Beverly Oliver, a.k.a. "The Babushka Lady", was in a key spot during
the assassination and she also had relationships with the local police
force. She would basically agree with Jean Hill's testimony in terms
of what she saw that day. She also headed north across the street
after the shots and headed up the hill towards the knoll as she also
thought the shots came from there.

She said in her book "Nightmare in Dallas" she had less concern for
alarm when she got to the knoll because there were cops already
there. She said she saw Sgt. P.T. Dean and "Geneva's Husband" (Geneva
was employed in the Carousel Club among others) there! Now for those
of you NOT familiar with Geneva's husband his name was Roscoe White!
The same Roscoe White who would die in a fire in 1971 and have his son
come forward in 1991 and claim his father shot JFK. The same Roscoe
White who had a UNSEEN copy of a BY photo in his possession.

Oliver would keep her mouth shut when the news was broadcasted that
the lone assassin had been on the sixth floor of the TSBD and NOT the
GN for obvious reasons as she had to wonder what Dean and White were
doing there soooo fast then.

The FBI wanted her film (she had taken her Yashica movie camera with
her that day) and she at first wondered how they knew she had the film
in the first place since she had NOT talked with them at DP. She
thought maybe they had seen her in another film and ID'd her, but she
did not think that was possible and then it struck her, when she ran
into Dean and White they must have seen the camera she had with her.
She would ID the FBI agent as Regis Kennedy when shown a bunch of
photos by researcher Gary Shaw (this man helped to steal much video
evidence and destroy it) and he was also the "case officer" for the
Marcello case. Her film was taken (with no receipt) and she has never
seen it since. She believes this film would have contained the key to
the case as well.

They tried to discredit Ms. Oliver by saying she couldn't have filmed
the assassination anyway as the Yashica camera was NOT available in
1963, but they were shown once again to be the liars they were when a
Yashica representative said it was not widely available until 1965,
BUT such models were availbable in select locations of the U.S. in
1963.

Dean would tell the WC that there was a Canadian journalist who took
photos during the assassination. WC attorney Burt Griffin instructed
Dean to return the next day and to "plan to tell the truth." Of
course when Dean returned Griffin was not allowed to question him.

What were Dean and White doing on the GN so fast? Why were they there
if the ONLY shots came from the TSBD as the WC claimed? (OF course
the majority of the police went to the GN first).

Dean was also involved in the LHO transfer and would give crucial
evidence against Jack Ruby, but remain close friends with him. Dean
was in charge of the security detail during the transfer and would
claim that Ruby told him a few minutes after shooting LHO that he,
Ruby, had been planning to do it. Even WC counsel Griffin did NOT
believe this and said he felt Dean was lying. Part of this reasoning
was due to the fact it was shown Dean was NOT alone with Ruby for some
time after the shooting, thus it would have been impossible for others
NOT to have heard this confession as well. But this was accepted by
the court and eventually it would be overturned on appeal.

Dean was the "author" of the lie that Ruby came down the Main St. ramp
past Roy Vaughn and into the basement. There is NO evidence that this
is what happened, in fact Officer Vaughn passed THREE lie detector
tests on this topic while Dean FAILED his -- and he was allowed to
write HIS OWN QUESTIONS TOO! Ruby was already in the building and
came into the basement another way with help of Asst. Chielf Batchelor
in all liklihood.

There is ample evidence showing quite a few folks knew ahead of time
that this shooting was going to happen and in terms of Dean it relates
to a lie regarding the doctor who was immediately on hand. This
doctor had stethoscope in pocket, ready for action. His act of giving
LHO artificial respiration, which forced blood at higher speed through
blood vessels probably did as much as the bullet to kill LHO (Vol. 19,
pp. 411-12). Dean's WC testimony would cited Dr. Bieberdorf as
DETECTIVE Brederdorf in an effort to hide the fact the had a doctor
ready and waiting. (CE2003, Vol. 24, p. 352)

Jim Marrs has suggested that Ruby was killed via inducd cancer by the
DPD as Ruby could have taken to PH for a physical and left in a room
with the X-ray equipment left on. (Crossfire, p. 433) More recent
research cites a "Patrick Dane" (assumed to be a typo for P.T. Dean),
seen on the knoll, and in charge of basement security when LHO was
shot, as involved in Ruby's passing. (Livingstone, Killing the Truth,
p. 551)

More strange connections tie Dean to the evidence that would be
"found" at PH. Dean's daughter, Tivilla Hoff, was the granddaughter
of O.P. Wright, the head of security at Parkland Hospital. Her step-
grandmother was Elizabeth Goode Wright who was the HEAD OF NURSING at
Parkland Hospital! Tivilla believed her father might have had
complicit in the conspiracy and with his connections at the hospital
he was in a position to obtain evidence and or plant evidence at PH on
that day. (Livingstone, The Radical Right and The Murder of JFK, p.
90)

In 1973 Dean would have a suspicious accident and have to retire from
the DPD. Dr. William Hall of Dalla noted that since the time of the
assassination Dean has had a "nervous irritability and insomnia and
inablility to perform productive labor of any sort." Hall would also
say Dean had "chronic anxiety syndrome" and this sure could be due to
guilt and fear.

Dean had many connections to the mob and to other key figures in this
case for these to go unnoticed and uninvestigated at the time. Much
of what has come out did not come out for many years afterwards when
he was looked into more fully by the HSCA, but by then 15 years had
passed.

At 9:00 (CST) senior officers of the Dallas Police Dept. begin issuing detailed orders for LHO's transfer.
While the 10:00 transfer is now off, it is obvious to all that LHO will be transferred within hours.
Policemen supposedly clear the Dallas Police headquarters basement of all but police personnel. Guards
are stationed at the top of the Main and Commerce Streets auto ramps leading down into the basement, at each of
the five doorways into the garage, and at the double doors leading to the public hallway adjacent to the jail office.
Then, Sgt. Patrick T. Dean, acting under instructions from Talbert, directs 14 men in a search of the garage. Maintenance
workers are directed to leave the area. The searchers examine the rafters, tops of air conditioning ducts,
and every closet and room opening off the garage. They search the interior and trunk compartment of automobiles
parked in the garage. The two passenger elevators in the central part of the garage are not in service and the doors
are shut and locked; the service elevator is moved to the first floor, and the operator is instructed not to return it to
the basement. WC
William Lord, ABC news correspondent, tells the FBI that he enters the police basement at this time by
public elevator from the third floor and that no one asks him to identify himself; he does not observe that anyone
is responsible for identifying those who enter the basement. AATF
The Warren Commission estimates that 40 to 50 newsmen are present in the police basement when LHO is shot. Twenty-seven press
representatives are listed as present in the police report on the so-called abortive transfer; the FBI interviews at least another 17 reporters,
which brings the number to 44. The Commission states that "Many newsmen reported that they were checked on more than one occasion
while they waited in the basement. A small number did not recall that their credentials were ever checked." According to Sylvia
Meagher, 14 newsmen report that their credentials have not been checked, or not checked on some occasions. Fourteen is almost onethird
of the total 44 newsmen - something over 31 per cent. Meagher suggests that 14 is not a "small number" but a large proportion,
and that the Warren Report minimizes what is clearly inexcusable recklessness and irresponsibility on the part of the Dallas police in
protecting a prisoner whose life has been threatened by unknown men. AATF

Sergeant Patrick Dean, who has known Jack Ruby for years, is in charge of securing the basement against
intruders. Dean, who will later be allowed to write his own questions, will fail a lie-detector test. The records of
Dean's test have since disappeared.

Beverly Oliver (the babushka lady) asserts that she encountered Patrick Dean and Roscoe White on the parking lot behind the picket fence.

Also, the third backyard photograph of Oswald was retrieved from Roscoe White's possesions.
Then we have the irrefutable connection to Jack Ruby (i.e. picture of Ruby with Geneva White)

There's also evidence he knew Lee Harvey Oswald, not only in Dallas, but from a more distant past in the Marines. Tosh Plumlee stated:

A: Roscoe White was at the radar complex and jungle warfare training in Honolulu and that's where I first met him. When I say met him...I would have never, never have picked Roscoe White and my feelings, it's a tragedy of what happened to Roscoe White's life. He was an operative. He was military intelligence. Basically, I think he was a good man. This other investigation a few years ago that came out...that however that went...the sensationalism of that was done very poorly because what it has done nowadays has totally discredited Roscoe White as being a military operative. The fact that Oswald and Roscoe White, the radar complex, and jungle warfare training, and Nagshead, North Carolina and all these things......
Q: Are you saying that you saw Roscoe White and Lee Harvey Oswald together?
A: Not together, at the same place and the same time. There was a ship that went over with White and a bunch of Marines and I can't remember the name of that particular ship, and I think that Oswald was on board that ship.

....so, If Roscoe White knew LHO well and was most likely involved in the production of the BYPs - and he was seen with Dean by Oliver - and Dean knew Ruby and seems to be complicit in allowing Ruby entrance to kill LHO.....it seems to me very likely that Dean and White were some [not all] of the DPD involved directly in the assassination. They both may well have been involved in ways beyond what I've alluded to here.

And there are multiple indications that R. White knew Tippit well - and Tippit seems to have known LHO - and perhaps drove him to the theater to be shot [but was arrested instead, while Tippit was the one shot!]; one wonders if Dean also knew White well .....and what this 'all means'......other than a small part of the greater conspiracy at 'ground level'.

White died in a very suspicious [IMHO] industrial 'accident' after he left the DPD; Dean left the DPD not long after 'Dallas' also, a nervous 'wreck' it is said.

That's why I cringe when DiEugenio blows-off White so quickly.
