For the anniversary of his murder over 1,000 guitarist pay homage to musician Victor Jara killed by the Pinochet military. They play his song 'El Derecho Vivir en Paz' (The Right to Live in Peace) which he wrote for Ho Chi Minh and the people of Vietnam when they were attacked by the murderous forces of US imperialism. His widow, English woman Joan Jara, is there also.
Young people re-enact the last walk of Victor Jara and his friends as they are taken from the University to the Stadium where he and they were tortured and killed with thousands of others. Indigenous Mapuche perform also. The stadium is now called the Victor Jara Stadium in his memory. They are spray painting 'Our dead live with us here'
