Ukraine: These Tanks ... And The State Department Lies Again

The Ukrainian coup government claims that Russian tanks crossed the border and are in use by federalists in east Ukraine. First claims talked about three Russian T-72 tanks but later claims changed the type of the tank to T64s. The tanks can be seen driving here (vid) and here (vid).
The U.S. State Department is now endorsing that claim:
There are several lies in this State Department claims. Ukrainian tank units are operating in the area against federalists. Here are several photos (scroll down) from Associated Press showing them - also pic 7 here. The tanks re T-64 BV, the upgraded subtype used in the Ukrainian army.
All Soviet era T-64 tanks were exclusively build and later upgraded in Kharkov, Ukraine. The Ukrainian state dealer Ukrspecexport still selling such upgraded tanks. Distinct features of the T-64 BV subtype are marked in picture 17 of this gallery at armyrecognition.com. Two smoke grenade launchers at the left side of the turret - none on the right -, the boxes at the rear of the turret and the infrared searchlight to the left of the gun are special features which can also be seen on page 4-14.1 of the OPFOR Worldwide Equipment Guide (pdf) of the U.S. TRADOC DCSINT Threat Support Directorate.
Russia had some 4,000 T-64s. It did not upgrade them but scrapped those it had.

To me, a former Bundeswehr tank officer, the three traveling tanks reportedly driven by federalists in the videos above are T-64 BVs like the Ukrainian army uses in east Ukraine. Also - as Russia no longer has any T-64s where else could the Ukrainian federalist have obtained those three T-64 tanks?

Interestingly, my reposting of the Saker's warning of an impending chemical/biological attack by the junta, timed to coincide with the trashing of the Russian embassy, earned me pre-moderation status at the Grauniad. Why the sudden sensitivity after my numerous outrages against the Washington consensus? I think the above extract explains it.

What I suspect was planned yesterday went something like this: the downing of the IL-76 at Lugansk airport - by a special forces unit within, or on the flight approach to, that surrounded garrison - was supposed to serve as the pretext for a "spontaneous" attack (by Team Maidan, some of whom were present in Odessa on May 2) on the Russian embassy, resulting in sundry outrages against diplomatic person and property. This was in turn to serve as cover for a series of false-flag attacks across central and western Ukraine, at least one of which - an alleged assassination attempt on the Chocolate King - has been publicised. How and by what means the most serious of the planned false-flags got spiked is anybody's guess, likely answerable only by the FSB and/or the CIA.

Russia provoked and Ukrainian public opinion raised to boiling point - now who would want to do such a thing?

PS The more I see, the more I become convinced that the CIA's aim is to overthrow Putin from his nationalist right. The latter is getting very restive.

I suspect some disinformation of a kind in your quoted post. Injecting untreatable TB and hepatitis C makes little sense. Hep C is already fatal minus a liver transplant and takes years to kill. Untreatable TB also is a slow killer but would spread far beyond the target area. Now that's blow back for you. Anthrax would make little sense in that after its use, it would make regions uninhabitable after depopulation.

I certainly agree the ultimate target is getting rid of Putin. His replacement would certainly have to be someone with solid international banking credentials. :hock::
