No. The main assertion of my post was that Dr. Nafeez Ahmed is using FEAR because he wants you to be frightened and emotional, like the child in his movie so you will cry "Please Big Daddy! Make more laws to Save Us!"

There is a good reason to be afraid. I have all of my graduate degrees in Environmental Science and can tell you that climate change [anthropogenic] and the greed of the Elites gone mad ARE driving human civilization, life and the very existence of most species on the Planet to the edge of the abyss in 10-20 years [when the collapse will be almost unstoppable...but will take time and be very ugly]. Extinction doesn't scare you?! What the hell does?! I've placed MANY threads on this here and will stake my life and my professional reputation on this as fact. You best be afraid and act to stop the collapse...otherwise you're just another ostrich with his/her head in the ground. Look at some of my threads under Environment.

As to Ahmed, here is a brief bio: Dr. Nafeez Ahmed is a bestselling author, investigative journalist and international security scholar. He is executive director of the Institute for Policy Research & Development, and author of A User's Guide to the Crisis of Civilization among other books. He writes for the Guardian on the geopolitics of environmental, energy and economic crises on his Earth insight blog

I am agnostic about this issue, but as someone who likes to take in the strongest and best arguments on both sides of a debate before drawing any conclusions, I found it interesting what this chap has to say:
