Among Obama's earlist and biggest financial supports were the Lester Crown family of Chicago. The Crowns were & are the largest stockholders of military-industrial giant General Dynamics. Peter Dale Scott has written many times about the Crown family and their influence on American politics. Lester Crown is the son of the late Henry Crown. Lester Crown has been married for over sixty years to the the former Renee Crown, daughter of the late Mayer, a hotelman, who was named by the U.S. SEnate Rockets committee,circa 1950, as a member of organized crime, and sister of the late David Shine, he being a close friend of the late Roy Cohn, and " an expert witness" before the Joe McCarhy Committee.
