Full Version: Clear proof the DP Tramps are not the men in the arrest reports

The distinction between the two sets of tramps is the difference between WISE/BASS/VAUGHN and Decker of the Sheriff Dept
and CHAMBERS/GRINELL/WAGNER and Capt Jones of the DPD.

Capt Jones is riding with these three men when the info related to Tippit is heard

The information on the shooting of Tippit occurs 40 minutes (or so) after the assassination so about 1:10 - 1:20pm

When they get to the DPD and CHAMBERS is assigned to these hobos - who are already there at the DPD - just after this info is heard, the timing appears to be BEFORE the DP tramp photos are even taken...
Jones, Grinell, Wagner nor CHAMBERS write a report related to these men being detained - the arrest reports written & signed by CHAMBERS are the ONLY documents related to the Tramps in all the evidence:

5. Arrest Report On Investigative Prisoner, by W. E. Chambers. Arrest report concerning a man removed from a railroad box car, (Carbon Copy Signed), 11/22/63. 00001023 1 page 03 20 005 1023-001.gif
6. Arrest Report On Investigative Prisoner, by W. E. Chambers. Arrest report concerning a man removed from a railroad box car, (Carbon Copy Signed), 11/22/63. 00001025 1 page 03 20 006 1025-001.gif
7. Arrest Report On Investigative Prisoner, by W. E. Chambers. Arrest report concerning a man removed from a railroad box car, (Carbon Copy Signed), 11/22/63. 00001027 1 page 03 20 007 1027-001.gif

CHAMBERS does not confirm he wrote them, in fact he says they are let go... page 3 second paragraph below :

JONES comes in to tell CHAMBERS they arrested a suspect - WHEN does that occur ? BEFORE 2pm if I remember correctly. In fact isn't Oswald back at the DPD before 2:30 - wonder how they know about Beckley for this report?

CHAMBERS says he is then told to let the three hobos go.

In 1966, a JFK assassination researcher, Richard E. Sprague, came across seven unpublished newspaper photographs that had been taken in Dealey Plaza between 2:20 and 2:30pm on 22 November 1963. http://22november1963.org.uk/three-tramp...aley-plaza

and wouldn't that be AFTER they let the three men go -
and yet we have arrest reports and the reports of the three men being in jail, with Oswald until the 24th, and they are released the 26th - according to these one and only incomplete arrest report files...

Then there is Beck, who signed the release and also a handwritten note related to 3 men in a car at 3pm on 11/22... one of the men with the same description as the man Baker mentions in his affidavit:

Is there a way to resolve this conflict with the timing of the tramp photos and the three men sitting in the DPD when Oswald is arrested that I am missing?

There were more than three tramps arrested in total, maybe. Some let go, some not.

No sir, there wasn't...

Harkness tells us that more than three men were taken off the train...

The only evidence at all are the arrest reports that are written after CHAMBERS says the hobos were released once Oswald was arrested.

If you read WISE's account none of the DPD personnel is involved.
I don't get it, that quote says exactly what I said.

"Removed from the Train"

is not the same as

"more than three tramps were arrested"

No tramps were arrested

there were three reports created "when?" singed by CHAMBERS and BECK which do not have the rest of the processing info, fingerprints or any follow-up other than a release date on the 26th.
The tramps' arrest records were located in 1992 by Mary La Fontaine from the DPD Archives. A story on the matter was published by the Houston Post.

I don't have copies of that stuff handy, but I have read it.
According to CHAMBER's story, Capt Jones tells him to release the three men once he hears that Oswald was arrested...

Chambers then releases the men.

The interviews of the three men and this paperwork places them in the same cell area as Oswald - and all three claim to have been there while Oswald was there thru the weekend.

Chambers not only said he released the men but also says that he does not remember filing out these reports and notes how incomplete they are....

These three men were not the same men photographed in DP and brought by WISE to DECKER to be released.

Two sets of cops, two sets of tramps... one released and probably involved somehow, one incarcerated (or lying about it) with faked arrest reports to maintina the anonimity of the men paraded thru DP that afternoon.

BTW - Jones hears about Oswald's arrest and tells Chambers to release these men BEFORE the men ion the photos are even paraded thru DP...
Pretty tricky
