Robert Morrow got on the MSNBC Rachel Maddow Show and said "Johnson assassinated Kennedy".

When he was done and Maddow was alone she said he was "palpably insane".

I started watching it last night and turned it off because I knew it would be an opportunity for Rachel to support the official story.

Well given the option of appearing to be supporting Morrow she probably made the correct decision. But so did you in turning it off and not be polluted by either nonsense. Best thing in most cases of MSM viewing.
I couldn't navigate to the clip in question, but was Morrow a guest? Or did they just do a segment about him? And he's writing a book with Roger Stone about Hilary? My, these guys have been busy, what with planting the Rafi Cruz story and all...

I could not find him. I watched and ff'd this clip and the next two then gave up. Ya she has supported the official story before so I now officially hate her ignorant mind.

Here's the transcript of the show. Looks like he was the subject Maddow's commentary but not a guest. Maddow is so lame.

Here's the video of how he came to be Maddow's whipping boy, not that he doesn't serve it.

They tend to make simple video references an obstacle course of advertizing and proprietary interests now a days. Anyway, the link only shows the show from the day before and if you watch it any longer than 24 hours later it automatically puts the next show in and dumps the previous one. (Worthless)

MSNBC and Maddow have found Morrow available for making the Republicans look nutty. They use him as a prop to make the Republican Party look like it has let go of the rudder with officials like Trump and Morrow representing a lunatic fringe that has gained a mainstream foothold. The unstated theme is "Let them destroy themselves while we watch".

They go to Morrow's house in Austin and interview him in his living room.

The thing I found noteworthy was Morrow clearly got in that Johnson was instrumental in killing Kennedy. Maddow just sort of let it hang out there as a nutty thing Morrow said without any comment from her. When she got back to the studio alone in the cut she then said Morrow was "Palpably insane". My interpretation was the assassination comment needed to be countered without addressing it directly. Maddow was sending a message that the assassination comment was the biggest threat to the status quo mainstream media she represents.

A few years ago she did a story about how Congress voted down some gun control bill in the late 1950s that would have banned the importation of cheap foreign-made rifles, and this OF COURSE led to Oswald buying a cheap Italian rifle, and "see how gun control laws might have saved JFK if only..." ::face.palm::

Tracy This is the story I saw that caused me to cease watching her. I expect that garbage from hacks like Chris Matthews, who never misses an opportunity to pawn the magic bullet idiocy, but I expected more from Maddow.

Rachel is very smart and I can't help but like her on a personal level, and I still watch her sometimes. But I know what she is - she has drunk the "progressive" Kool Aid and is totally invested in telling that mainstream-liberal narrative about America's history (which Chris Matthews is also an expert at). She was reinforcing the official story of Watergate last night as she talked about the effort to get Trump to release his taxes.

Myth-making, story-telling - it's what all corporate media (right or left) is about. And most political bloggers too.
