I've seen this now a few times but the place I've seen it is filled with the worst possible theories and comparisons... Even a broken clock is right twice a day though...

The hanging microphone and it's shadow are unmistakable. I skewed the other image and even the bricks above the doorway across to the microphone are the same.

The shot is a split second after the image with the mic in it. There is a shadow on the wall from this mic that is also missing.

I'm at a loss.

Maybe they air-brushed it out.
Just what happened to the upper right corner of the photo with the missing microphone, pray tell?
It could be evidence they were worried the microphone might have picked up something they didn't want people to hear and they didn't want to bring attention to it.

Like Oswald saying "Jack, what are you doing here"?

Photography adjustment, maybe???
I found two images I could superimpose. Even the bricks line up above the door and over to the mic.

It couldn't have just disappeared. Either perspective or they did this at least twice ???

My best guess is that the boom mic got shifted in the jostling and the shadow moved off the wall. There is a corner there a few inches away. Or that it is a different perspective because with the images being taken just a little bit between them it would be enough for the boom mike and its shadow to not show up on the wall.
The trouble with the jostling theory is the mike isn't visible in the top image before any commotion caused by Ruby occurred. I guess it is possible the mike was in motion and moved in to the frame in some images and not in others, but it does seem screwy.

.
Perhaps the light projecting the shadow was shifted or turned off or the mike was moved elsewhere. Interesting, but I don't think you can know for sure without photos of the area of the mike and light.
You would think the boom mike was dropped and raised as the car was backing up. But when you go to the You-Tube video of the scene you don't see that.
