Quote:On June 5, 1961, the Supreme Court upheld by 5-4 the conviction of Junius Scales under the "membership clause" of the Smith Act. Scales began serving a six-year sentence on October 2, 1961. He was released after serving fifteen months when President John F. Kennedy commuted his sentence in 1962.

Just one question, or maybe a few, Lee H. Oswald went to Russia, returned from Russia, he publicly admitted during a radio interview he was Marxists. He made a public plea asking the United States government to leave Fidel Castro alone. Oswald also became a sole advocate and member of FPCC. My question(s) are, why didn't the U.S. Government also go after Oswald? Or.... Did they?
