Trine Day has another JFK book out, and happily, Judith Vary Baker didn't write it.

Jim DeBrosse's SEE NO EVIL: The JFK Assassination and the U.S. Media is an expansion, or possibly just a reprint, of a PhD thesis he wrote for Ohio University ("Lost in the Master's Mansion") in 2014. The thesis and the later book both seem to be much the same length. Scrolling through the pages, I saw some decent stuff, and some perhaps less useful stuff alongside it. Your mileage may vary. I can see some new stuff in the new edition, but the meat and potatoes in each look much the same.

The original thesis is here.

Trine Day have another book forthcoming on the JFK assassination and the U.S. media in just a few months - BURYING THE LEAD by Mal Hyman.
Mal Hyman is writing a book on the media in the case?

That is one I really want to read.

Hyman has been researching the case for over 20 years. And he is really careful and credible. That should be a good one.
Mal Hyman's book is out in October, apparently. I've linked it below. I saw an ultra brief interview with him this afternoon where he talked about the book for a couple of minutes and he seems a very thoughtful, credible and compelling guy, so I agree, it looks like a worthwhile volume.
