There was also a spate of sudicidations in the 1990's with a Rothschild (Amshel) suspending himself to death in a Paris hotel (in 1996) by using a bathrobe tie that was fastened o a loose bathroom towel holder. The family reported it as a heart attack.

Then there was the curious case of Edmund Safra who was suicided in his luxury penthouse in Monte Carlo in 1999.

Bankers who die and go to heaven.

Beyond that there is never any hint of murder and/or assassination.
Oh that Safra one was really strange. the 'nurse' was a former SAS or similar and something about locking himself in the bathroom and a fire. Very wierd. No body guards that night. And in Monaco where nothing is un-noticed and they know how many squares of toilet paper you use and how many flakes of corn flakes one has for breakfast.

Another one for the list:
CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) -- Police are investigating the death of the former chief fundraiser for ex-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich as a "death-suicide," an Illinois mayor said Sunday.

Financier Christopher Kelly told police shortly before he died Saturday that he took an "overdose of drugs," said Dwight Welch, mayor of Country Club Hills, Illinois.

The Russian Mafiya done it.

Safra was so crooked it was a surprize he lasted so long. He was the King of drug money laundering and the counterparty par excellence of insider dealing.

HSBC bought him out shortly before his suicidation.

Which figures.
