Is he world now so completely upside down and fucked up beyond recognition that no one is fazed by the foregoing statements when it is well known that said "detainee" was water-boarded 183 times prior to making these statements?
How can anyone in the light of this have the outrageous fucking nerve and lying mouth to then use the words "without duress"!

Consider for a nanosecond that they were torturing him in order to make him confess that he was NOT what he said in Court and he resisted and spoke the opposite to spite them......on second nanosecond's thought....you might have a point there, David....even more so when if he didn't say what he did, he knew they could/would waterboard him further - as they wished, forever and until he died (or kill him). Who knows what additional mind-control or other techniques he was subjected to. They hate us for our values and our freedoms - HA! :flute:

Agreed Pete. The point is that no confession he made can be trusted in the light of his extensive torture. And the sheer bloody nerve of using the term "without duress" in that situation defies belief.
We will wait and then we will "see" -- at the "show" trial -- in which the state puts up evidence it can claim is not tainted so it can demonstrate to the world the integrity, balance, transparency and fairness of the American system of jurisprudence. The continued suppression and ignore-ance of 9/11 inquiry sets the stage for the regurgitation of the old and tried myth; the mighty Wurlitzer is retooled and re-wired.
Can you imagine the media frenzy, selling postcards of the hanging?
The pundits will be tripping over themselves in order to curry ratings and favor with the administration and the mephistophelian military-industrial-Congressional-intelligence machine.
