Earlier today the website DailyKos reported on a smear campaign plot to falsely accuse Julian Assange of pedophilia.
Here is the description of the plot from Mr Assange's legal team, the investigative report into the front company and associated correspondence. An unknown entity posing as an internet dating agency prepared an elaborate plot to falsely claim that Julian Assange received US$1M from the Russian government and a second plot to frame him sexually molesting an eight year old girl.
The second plot includes the filing of a fabricated criminal complaint in the Bahamas, a court complaint in the UK and laundering part of the attack through the United Nations. The plot happened durring WikiLeaks' Hillary Clinton related publications, but the plot may have its first genesis in Mr. Assange's 16 months litigation against the UK in the UN system, which concluded February 5 (Assange won. UK and Sweden lost & US State Dept tried to pressure the WGAD according to its former Chair, Prof. Mads Andenas).

• May, when self-claimed dating agency "ToddAndClare" (T&C) approach saying they were contacted by the Russian government
  

• Sep 3, T&C email Assange's Swedish lawyer Per Samualson offering one million dollars for Assange to appear in a video advertisement for the "dating agency" ToddAndClare.com (See attachment). This is the first contact.
  

• Sep 15, email sent from a member of Mr. Assange's defence team to hannah@toddandclare requesting further details (See attachment)
  

• Sep 19, hannah@toddandclare.com emailed with elaborate bonafides, proposed agreement and the claim that the source of the million dollars is the Russian government The email states that T&C was approached by Russian representatives in May 2016 and that "The source of the $1,000,000 is the Russian government". The email then goes on to "verify" bonafides by giving a detailed description of the interior of the house and desk of his lawyer, Helena Kennedy, who is a member of the UK parliament, including a reference to a photo of Tony Blair (Kennedy states that the Blair reference is accurate although out-of-date).
  

• Sep 20, a representative of Mr. Assange's defence writes to hannah@toddandclare.com stating that the proposal appears to be an "elaborate scam designed to entrap Mr. Assange's reputation into unwanted and unwarranted publicity"
  

• Sep 21, hannah@toddandclare.com writes stating that "The offer expires at midnight, October 31st 2016."
  

• Late Sep, WikiLeaks announce a press conference for Oct 4 for its ten year anniversary.
  

• Late Sep, Press widely misreport that WikiLeaks is going to launch its "October Suprise" against Hillary Clinton on Oct 4, misinterpreting its press conference call
  

• Oct 4, T&C files its "Assange paedophile" libel through the UN's Global Compact system alleging that there is an active criminal investigation in the Bahamas against Julian Assange for the abuse of an eight year old girl and claiming to have chat logs and photos. The allegation appears on the UN website with UN Gobal Compact letter head and is contextualised with a complex back story. The request targets the UN WGAD (part of the UN Human Rights system) which found that Assange is being illegally detained by the United Kingdom and Sweden.

INVESTIGATION: T&C Network Solutions and ToddAndClare.com
Executive Summary/Overview
A preliminary investigation of T&C Network Solutions was conducted to identifywhether the business entity is a legitimate organization. Throughout the investigation, no officialrecords for T&C Network Solutions were identified in any of the jurisdictions the company hasclaimed as their corporate headquarters. Additionally, all attempted contact with the companyand its few identified associates currently remains unsuccessful -- all telephone numbersidentified as being associated with this organization were either not valid or inoperative; none ofthe emails sent to the company's customer support, domain administrator, press addresses oridentified affiliated individuals were responded to.
T&C Network Solutions is listed as the owner of ToddAndClare.com, which purports tobe an online dating and cellphone messaging platform. Despite the online dating company'spretension of being founded in 2011, ToddAndClare.com's online presence has only beenidentified as early as 1 September 2015. The social media presence for ToddAndClare.com onFacebook, Twitter and Instagram indicates the utilization of "commercial zombie accounts"which can be purchased from a 3rd party to artificially inflate the perceived user activity. Noindependent website has been identified for T&C Network Solutions.
Research was conducted to establish the bona fides of T&C Network Solutions andToddAndClare.com, including searching city, county, state, federal and international databasesfor any official records, corporate filings, fictitious business registrations, civil litigation history,trade and service mark registrations, and real property records, with negative results for thebusiness entity, in each of its various names.
No official government records for T&C Network Solutions were identified throughoutthe course of this investigation other than recognition as a Participant with the United NationsGlobal Compact, since 6 May 2016, and a "United Nations Communication on Progress" reportfiled by ToddandClare.com on 4 October 2016.
T&C Network Solutions was delisted by the UN Global Compact program on 12 Oct2016. The delisted entry states that T&C Network solutions failed the program's "IntegrityMeasures".1
It is our conclusion that T&C Network Solutions exhibits the characteristics of a highlysuspicious and likely fabricated business entity.

T&C Network Solutions is listed as the owner of [COLOR=rgb(0.000000%, 0.000000%, 12.548800%)]www.ToddAndClare.com[/COLOR].2 A search ofthe ICANN WHOIS database results in a Registrant, Admin and Tech contact, which are allidentical. The name of the contact is Julia Phillips. The organization is T&C Network Solutions.The mailing address is listed as 10685-B Hazelhurst Dr., Houston Texas 77043. The phonenumber is listed as 1.713.091.6111. A search of the mailing address listed indicates that it is located at the same address 5 of acommercial mail forwarding service called USA2ME.com.6 The telephone number provided byT&C Network Solutions, 1.713.091.6111, is not a valid number in the United States. An email sent tothe provided email address requesting a reply was not responded to.
The page continues saying "news and announcements can be found on our blog" and alink to the Todd and Clare blog is provided. There are a total of 18 blog posts, the earliest beingon 24 October 2015.
The ToddAndClare.com/about page also provides some "facts about us" saying that"We're a real couple... We're not big users of social media... and rarely update ourtwitter/facebook pages... We don't give telephone or in-person interviews due to an informativeexperience with Buzzfeed News. We ask that all press correspondence be in to [sic] writing...We don't like Big government. A Terms of Use page for ToddAndClare.com was identified. The Terms of Use refers tothe company as "T&C Network Solutions" throughout and has sections covering "CommunityStandards", "License", "Use", "Moderation", "Prohibited Content", "Payments", "Disclaimer","Claims", "Misc.", and "Notification of Claims of Infringement of Copyright or OtherIntellectual Property". The Terms of Use states "T&C Network Solutions use is governed byTexas ("TX") law regardless of your location or any conflict or choice of law principle... Claimsmust be resolved exclusively by state or federal court in Houston, TX..."
A Wikipedia page for Todd and Clare was identified.25 Wikipedia entries are usersupplied and not fact checked. The entry claims that Todd and Clare are owned by T&C NetworkSolutions and the company headquarters is located in Houston, Texas. [As noted above, nodocuments have been identified in the State of Texas, in Harris County, Texas, or the city ofHouston, Texas for either T&C Network Solutions or Todd & Clare.] The Wikipedia article thensays Todd and Clare "is the first dating business to be accepted by the United Nations GlobalCompact." The article claims that in 2016, "over 45,000 women members were actively usingthe site."

A Facebook page for Todd and Clare was identified.26 Only seven posts have been madeon the Todd and Clare Facebook page, the earliest post identified was posted on 1 January 2016.There appears to be suspicious activity with these posts; there are hundreds of "Facebook likes"(almost entirely from accounts outside the United States), but there are zero comments fromusers. This represents a large deviation from normal user activity.
On the Todd and Clare Facebook page, in the About section, it is claimed that Todd andClare started in 2011.27 "Todd and Clare started life as a Michigan couple's email dating networkin 2011 for friends."
A Michigan Business Entity Search was conducted with Michigan's Department ofLicensing and Regulatory Affairs,28 with no matching results.
A Twitter page for Todd and Clare was identified.29 The first Tweet was posted on 23October 2015. Since then, there has been almost no user engagement with their Twitter account,until 30 March 2016, when it appears that Todd and Clare began utilizing a commercial serviceto provide automated user activity. Much like Todd and Clare's Facebook page, posts since 30March 2016 have received hundreds of "Twitter Likes" and "Retweets", however zero commentsfrom users. This represents a large deviation for normal user activity.
An Instagram account for Todd and Clare was identified.30 There have been 19 posts,with the earliest post from late October 2015. Similar to the Todd and Clare Facebook andTwitter accounts, the Instagram account has zero comments from users.
A YouTube account for Todd and Clare was identified.31 There have been 30 videoposted, with the earliest post from 5 January 2016 and the most recent posted on 1 March 2016.In a video posted on 16 January 2016 titled "A Quick Guide to Todd and Clare" a womanidentifies herself as "Ali, your personal Todd and Clare wing-girl."32 A search was conducted toidentify "Ali" who was identified on Facebook as "Lexi Lee Graboski."33 It appears that Ms.Graboski is an actress residing in Los Angeles, California. A message was sent to Ms. Graboskion her Facebook account requesting a reply was not responded to.
A YellowPages.com page was identified for ToddAndClare.com.34 On it lists the sameHouston, Texas address indicated on the ICANN WHOIS search, 10685-B Hazelhurst Drive,Houston, Texas 77043. In light of the other inconsistencies and the story of them contacting Assange before, it is clear that this company is a bogus tool used to discredit Assange and that every claim they make should be regarded as junk.

Meanwhile, an excellent article at Counterpunch which, to my mind, focuses on the reality. The US elite and Hilary's campaign keep pushing the myth that Wikileaks and Russia are interfering in the US election. But the article writer makes the compelling point that it is, in fact, the US media who are interfering in the US election by deflecting away from the contents of the DNC email hack, especially the Podesta dump. Thier job clearly is to make sure that the Neocons war girl gets the big job. And if this means perverting journalistic standards so be it.

The Cyber-War on Wikileaks

When the ruling class is in panic, their first reaction is to hide the panic.
They react out of cynicism: when their masks are revealed, instead of running around naked, they usually point the finger at the mask they wear. These days the whole world could witness a postmodern version of the infamous quote "Let them eat cake", attributed to Marie-Antoinette, queen of France during the French Revolution.
As a reaction to WikiLeaks publishing his emails, John Podesta, the man behind Hillary Clinton's campaign, posted a photo of a dinner preparation, saying "I bet the lobster risotto is better than the food at the Ecuadorian Embassy".
A similar version of vulgar cynicism emerged earlier this month when Hillary Clinton reacted to the claim that she reportedly wanted to "drone" WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange ("Can't we just drone this guy?") when she was the US Secretary of State. Instead of denying her comments, Clinton said that she doesn't recall any such joke, "It would have been a joke if it had been said, but I don't recall that".
One doesn't have to read between the lines to understand that if Hillary Clinton had said that, she would have considered it a joke. But when emperors joke, it usually has dire consequences for those who are the objects of their "humor."
Cyber-war Not with Russia…but WikiLeaks
During the last few months I have visited Julian Assange in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London several times and each time I came out of the Embassy, where he is spending his fifth year in political asylum under legitimate fear he might be extradited to the US, my thought was the following one: although he lives, without his family, in a postmodern version of solitary confinement (even prisoners are allowed to walk for up to one hour a day), although he has no access to fresh air or sunlight for more than 2000 days, although the UK government recently denied him safe passage to a hospital for an MRI scan, if his access to the internet would be cut off this would be the most severe attack on his physical and mental freedom.
The last time I saw him, which was only two weeks ago, he expressed the fear that, because he had already published leaks concerning US elections and with more to come, the US might find various ways to silence him, including pressuring Ecuador or even shutting down the internet.
What seemed a distant possibility only two weeks ago, soon became a self-fulfilling prophecy.
When the Obama administration recently announced that it is, as Biden said, planing an "unprecedented cyber covert action against Russia", the first victim was not Putin, but precisely Julian Assangewhose internet was cut off just a day after Biden's self-contradictory proclamation.
No wonder Edward Snowden reacted immediately by saying that "nobody told Joe Biden what covert operation' means.
According to the U.S. Department of Defense's Dictionary of Military and Associated Terms, a covert operation is "an operation that is so planned and executed as to conceal the identity of or permit plausible denial by the sponsor."
It is no secret anymore that the Ecuadorian government has come under extreme pressure since Assange leaked the Democratic National Committee email database. We don't know yet whether the US pressured Ecuador to shut down the internet, but it is clear that the present US government and the government to come is fighting a war with WikiLeaks which is all but "covert". Is it really a coincidence that Julian Assange's internet access was cut off shortly after publication of Clinton's Goldman Sachs speeches?
If at the beginning we still had a "soft" version of postmodern McCarthyism, with Hillary calling everyone opposed to her campaign a Russian spy (not only Assange, but also Donald Trump and Jill Stein), then with Obama's recent intervention it became more serious.
With Obama's threat of a cyber-war, the "soft" McCarthyism didn't only acquire geopolitical significance, but at the same time a new mask was revealed: Obama is obviously trying to cement the public debate and make the Russian threat "real", or at least to use it as a weapon in order to help Clinton to get elected. Moreover, this new twist in something that has already become much more than only US elections (US elections are never only US elections!), shows not only how Obama is ready to strengthen Hillary's campaign, but it also reveals that a cyber war is already in the making.
It is not a cyber war with Russia, but with WikiLeaks.
And it is not the first time.
What would Clausewitz say?
In 2010, when the Collateral Murder video was published, the Afghan and Iraq war logs were released, and we witnessed one of the most sinister attacks on freedom of speech in recent history. VISA, Mastercard, Diners, American Express and Paypal imposed a banking blockade on WikiLeaks, although WikiLeaks had not been charged with any crime at either state, federal or international level. So if the US government successfully convinced payment companies representing more than 97% of the global market to shut down an independent publisher, why wouldn't they pressure Ecuador or any other state or company to cut off the internet?
The US is not only rhetorically trying to "get" Assange (it is worth to check out the Assassinate Assange video for evidence of the verbal masturbation of US officials), he poses a serious threat to the major elite factions in the US to remain in power. No wonder panic is rising in the US, which is now going even so far that a 16-year-old boy in Britain has been arrested on criminal charges related to the alleged hacking of email accounts used by CIA director John Brennan, which WikiLeaks published in October 2016.
What WikiLeaks obviously successfully challengedand maybe one day ("history is written by the victors", remember?) it will be learned in military strategy is what the Prussian general and military theorist Carl von Clausewitz would call the "centre of gravity" (Schwerpunkt), which is the "central feature of the enemy's power".
Instead of speaking about the Russians, we should start speaking about the Schwerpunkt of the actual leaks, their real essence. Just take the following quotes by Hillary Clinton exposed by WikiLeaks, which reveal her true nature and the politics behind her campaign: "We are going to ring China with missile defence", "I want to defend fracking" and climate change environmentalists "should get a life", "you need both a public and a private position", "my dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders".
What WikiLeaks has shown is not only that Hillary is a hawkish war-monger, first it was Libya (over 1,700 of the 33,000 Clinton emails published by WikiLeaks reference Libya), then it was Syria (at a Goldman Sachs conference she explicitly stated she would like to intervene in Syria), tomorrow it will be another war.
It is now clear and this is the real "centre of gravity" where we should focus our attention that the future Clinton cabinet may already been filled with Wall Street people like Obama's was. No wonder WikiLeaks revelations create utter panic not only in the Democratic Party itself but also the Obama administration.
One question remains, isn't WikiLeaks, by leaking all these dirty secrets, influencing the US elections? Yes, it certainly is, but the current criticism misses its point: isn't the very point of organisations such as WikiLeaks to publish the material they have and to influence public opinion?
The question should finally be turned around: isn't the US mainstream media the one influencing the US elections? And isn't Obama, by announcing a cyber-war with Russia, influencing the elections?
WikiLeaks is not only influencing the US elections, but transforming the US elections as they should have been from the very beginning into a global debate with serious geopolitical consequences at stake. What WikiLeaks is doing is revealing this brutal fight for power, but, as the old saying goes, "when a wise man points at the Moon, the idiot looks at the finger". Instead of looking at the finger pointing to Russia, we should take a look at the leaks themselves.
If democracy and transparency means anything today, we should say: let them leak!

Meanwhile at different places in the internet some people have worked to understand the background of the Todd and Clare scam:
1. The company behind the website toddandclare.com does not exist, there are no employees, the phone does not exist and the address is a nondescript warehouse in Texas.
2. All pictures on the website have been stolen from other sites and depict people which have nothing to do with this scam.
3. The internet archive rerveals a San Francisco address that was entered when the website was set up and later deleted.
4. This address belongs to Premise Data Corporation, whose CEO is David Soloff.

How a picture speaks a thousand words...

OK, for fairness, there is a denial by David Soloff, explaining that the address used by Todd And Clare was not the address of his company any more at the time when the website toddandclare.com was set up. http://www.snopes.com/san-francisco-tech-assange/



Hmm, the address (645 7th St) was used by a Premise employee (niki@premise.com) to set up a website (www.riosupervia.com) on 23rd July, 2015.
On September 1, 2015 a certain Todd Hammond registered another website (www.trafficsail.com) with the same address.

Another interesting type is a certain Tunde Reid-Kapo, who has registered a website (www.yamiechess.com) on the same server as Todd And Clare, and who has also joined the

I don't think Wikileaks would get the publicity it does if it wasn't controlled by the right people, or surrounded by precautions to achieve the same ends.
