BNP stands for British National Party. They are the fascist type party in the UK. And racial purity/hygene party.

You may already know this,but Peter Tosh was an original member of the "Wailers".Later changed to Bob Marley and the Wailers.Unfortunatly Peter was also murdered,or assassinated.

He was an outspoken and major cultural force, like Bob Marley, and he was murdered, like Bob Marley. Like Bob Marley he took the stage at the One Love Peace concert:

"Peter Tosh appeared very militant on stage; in between songs he was harangueing Manly and Seaga, who were attending the concert from front row. Tosh also taunted the police by lighting up a joint, to great excitement of the crowd. Months later, the police took revenge by arresting him and nearly beating him to death in a prison cell."

Yes, Peter was the more militant of the Wailers.I've seen two DVD concerts of Peter,and both he smokes joints onstage.His way to say I'm a FREE man.But they do die young don't they..............

Yes they do Keith.
Peter Tosh was 43 years old when he was shot to death in his home.
Bob Marley was only 31 years old when he survived the shooting in his home, and was 36 years old when he died.

They had a lot of lyrics and performances left in them. What a relief to the CIA backed Seaga government of Jamaica that they were spared the embarrassment of those lyrics and performances from their political opponents.

Great website(CIA vs Reggae).It hit the nail on the head as far as the cultural change after Bob and Peters deaths.Roots reggae almost disapeared in the eighties for that Dancehall crap.I don't know about Dr. Issels,but he sounds like a friggin' scary dude to me.He cut Bobs beautiful dreadlocks,the Bastard.I had a friend who went to Mexico back in the late seventies as a last resort for expierimental naturapathy therepy for his brain tumer.He was in his thirties.We buried him on his land.We later buried my x-wifes mother next to him.Well,my eyes are blurry.Too late to come up with a Marley songline.
