Assuming a plane did hit the building at some ~500 MPH, much of what what broke through wouldn't come to a rest well past the entrance hole, and what bounced off would have mostly shredded to unrecognizable peaces on impact and bounced well off. So, without more detail of where she actually was in the building, I see no reason to suspect she should have noticed any airplane wreckage.
