If you are really interested in the MLK case, this is a good book to get. TOns of info in it that was all blacked out by the MSM.

Another excellent book is Dr. Phil Melanson's "The Martin Luther King Assassination".
Reads like a well written murder mystery. I literally read it on one sitting many years ago when the author was still alive.

Jim DiEugenio's review of The 13th Juror: The Official Transcript of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Murder Conspiracy Trial is full of fascinating detail in addition to everything I've gathered from reading to date.
I well recall the 1997 ABC special wherein the weaselly Forrest Sawyer had his "gotcha" moment at William F. Pepper's expense.
Pepper, who is now defending Sirhan, produced evidence of military intelligence presence in Memphis the day of the kill, hence, "orders to kill."
And we are shocked: military intelligence in Dealey Plaza under false flag of Secret Service; military intelligence on the roof of the fire station: photographing another assassination.
As Ruby's new trial was scheduled, Ruby was hit with a wicked fast-acting cancer. As Ray looks at a new trial, Ray's liver falls out on the street.
And we are shocked.
But in a case wherein the patsy assumes the secure identity of an NSA asset, having accomplished magic ballistics in the Defoliating Canopy Bathtub Shot, while the target was moved to the motel and onto the balcony, what is one more outre event.
And, now, he-e-e-ere's Jesse Jackson!
"If you cannot mediate, you must assassinate"--so it was with Malcolm, so it is with Martin.
There can be no bar to control.
