I didn't realize that Armitage was a Trilat. What a start to the North American membership roll. Gawd!

Myra Bronstein

I'd welcome insights on the various imperial clubs and where they fit in the grand scheme. Is the CFR the preeminent one? How does the Trilateral Commission relate to the CFR, if at all? How does the Bilderberg Group relate to the others. Etc.

The Trilats are the sister group of the Bilderberg Group. They were founded to incorporate the Japanese as "honourable whites" into the North American/European power elite.

It is a little known fact -- but an interesting one -- that the premier chivalric order of England's Royal family, namely the Most Noble Order of the Garter includes members of Europe's royal families and top UK politicians. The only non European royals who have been elevated to this order at the direct wish of the Queen are the Japanese royal family.

Meanwhile, both the Trilats and Bilderberg connect to the CFR as indeed the CFR directly connects to Chatham House (its founding "mother").

Chatham House is the offspring of the Rhodes-Milner Group.
David Guyatt Wrote:I didn't realize that Armitage was a Trilat. What a start to the North American membership roll. Gawd!

Armitage is executive, Phoenix Program, muscle. I've always assumed his prominence was simply payback for services rendered, but I've also long been surprized at his high profile visibility.

On the occasion of Armitage's promotion to high public office, Mike Ruppert and Bill Tyree reported the following about Powell & Armitage's good ole Phoenix Program days....

Quote:RICHARD ARMITAGE QUIETLY CONFIRMED
AS DEPUTY SECRETARY OF STATE

FTW - On March 23, after being recommended in a unanimous 18-0 vote by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, former Vietnam-era covert operative and Contra-era figure Richard Armitage was confirmed as Deputy Secretary of State in a voice vote on the Senate Floor. The unchallenged confirmation of a figure who had previously been investigated by President Reagan's Commission on Organized Crime (1984) for alleged links to gambling and prostitution was totally ignored by the major American media. Armitage has already begun work at the State Department and is deeply involved in negotiations over a US spy plane recently captured by the Chinese government.

The total lack of opposition to Armitage's appointment indicates an apparent inability of the US Congress to muster any critical examination of appointments or policy at a time when an imperiled US economy and an almost combative Bush Administration is dealing with mounting economic and political challenges around the globe.

Armitage, who was denied a 1989 appointment as Assistant Secretary of State because of links to Iran-Contra and other scandals, served as Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs in the Reagan years. U.S. Government stipulations in the Oliver North trial specifically named Armitage as one of the DoD officials responsible for illegal transfers of weapons to Iran and the Contras. But Armitage's dirty past goes much deeper.

A Vietnam veteran and graduate of Annapolis, Armitage's roots have been thoroughly intertwined with the likes of CIA veteran Ted Shackley, Richard Secord, Heine Aderholt, Elliot Abrams, Dewey Clarridge, Edwin Wilson and Tom Clines. All of these men have been directly linked to CIA covert operations, the drug trade, the abandonment of U.S. prisoners of War after Vietnam and/or Iran-Contra. Armitage has also been routinely discussed in FTW as a Bush-era covert functionary who has been linked to covert operations, drug smuggling and the expansion of organized crime operations in Russia, Central Asia and the Far East.

In 1986 a private dispute between POW activist Ross Perot and Armitage went public as photos of Armitage with a topless Vietnamese nightclub owner Nguyen O'Rourke brought allegations of gambling and prostitution close to Armitage's doorstep. The stories went public when TIME and "The Boston Globe" wrote lengthy stories on the feud in 1986 and 1987. That scandal arose as a result of 1984 investigations by President Reagan's Commission on Organized Crime in which the photo and documentation of gambling charges and prostitution led to direct Armitage's close association with O'Rourke. Then LAPD Assistant Chief Jesse Brewer, a former Commanding Officer of this writer, served on the Reagan Commission.

The 1992 best-seller "Kiss The Boys Goodbye" by former "60 MINUTES" producer Monika Jensen-Stevenson details Armitage's role as Reagan point man on Vietnam POW-MIA issues and describes why Armitage has earned the enmity of many POW activists. However, in a 1995 interview with "The Washington Post", Colin Powell referred to Armitage as his "white son." This, notwithstanding the fact that the 6 foot, balding, power-lifter, now 56, can still bench press 300 or more pounds and reportedly "enjoys killing."

William Tyree, Special Forces Veteran who has provided much reliable information and documentation to FTW in the past said, "Armitage used to 'sit ambush' on the trails in Laos and Cambodia. He liked it. Now when Powell, 'the dove,' sits down at a table with Armitage 'the killer' beside him the message will be that Armitage can reach across the table and deal with the other party on the spot." That message will not go unheard.

http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/po...ge_SS.html
Jan, Armitage's "association" with Nguyen O'Rourke might well be even murkier than it seems.

What seems like a century ago I was given a fairly heavy file on Armitage in which many things were stated, including that O'Rourke was a North Vietnamese spy who had enticed Armitage into a "honey-trap" and then blackmailed him into working for the North Vietnamese during his tour there.

Below is an extract of a subsequent article I wrote:

http://www.deepblacklies.co.uk/deep_black_1_2.htm

Quote:THE SPY DRUG-MEISTER

With the president effectively muzzled, Armitage and his small coterie of Washington movers and shakers believed they were untouchable. To a large extent they were. Already the Assistant Secretary of Defence, Armitage was nominated, in February 1989, by a grateful President Bush to become Assistant Secretary of State for Far Eastern Affairs. This move was blocked and Armitage was, instead, nominated for the post of Secretary of the Army.

Behind the scenes, a virtual war was in progress as the department of Justice and the FBI fought to indict Armitage for his narcotics and other criminal activities. These measures were powerfully resisted by Attorney General Thornburg, a political appointee of President Bush. Significantly, however, Armitage was also under scrutiny by Federal Investigators working for the President's Commission on Organised Crime, with a focus on foreign organised criminal activity in gambling and drug trafficking.

This resulted from Armitage's close association with a Vietnamese female, Ngdyet Tui (Nanette) O'Rourke. The latter was at the centre of an extremely large scale gambling ring operated by US based Vietnamese. O'Rourke was awarded US citizenship, according to one source, under "highly suspect circumstances." She was also suspected of being a prostitute. As investigators developed their case, they came to believe that Armitage's association with O'Rourke dated back to his service in Vietnam, when he is thought to have operated a shady bar with her in Saigon. There were also suspicions that O'Rourke operated as Armitage's "courier."

Another source who was involved in these investigations noted that " nearly every Vietnamese woman involved in major gambling operations on the East Coast [of America] is married to an American who is either CIA or has connections to the agency," - including O'Rourke's husband. Meanwhile, yet another investigator who believed Armitage was "dirty" was frustrated in his investigations by Frank Carlucci, the Secretary of Defence, and other powerful patrons. In 1975 during Armitage's CIA tour in Vietnam, Carlucci was the no2 man in the CIA.

Because of the numerous high level obstructions, investigations into Armitage's criminal activities were curtailed, but not before some damaging information had been gathered. Not least of this was Armitage's special relationship with O'Rourke. Investigators discovered a photo, believed to have been taken professionally, showing a naked O'Rourke posing in her bedroom with a partly undressed Armitage. This, and other factors, led investigators and, in fact, some very influential political insiders, to conclude that O'Rourke was really working for North Vietnamese intelligence, and that the photo had been used to blackmail Armitage into becoming a spy.[16]

Such was the strength of the information developed on Armitage that he was forced to abandon his nomination for Secretary of the Army, and, in fact, all other official US government posts. Subsequently, Defence officials stated privately that Armitage will never again be permitted to darken the doors of the Department of Defence. Known as "Mr Phu" (literally meaning "Mr. Rich") amongst the Vietnamese community, Armitage, despite his disgrace was still able to count on the enormous power of his political patrons and avoided criminal prosecution. Knowing far too much about US government "dirt" during the previous three decades provided him with an instant "do not go to jail" card.
David - very interesting. It seems Armitage may like money and power almost as much as killing and sex. Rolleyes

So, we have sex, drugs, gambling & the mob, spies, and.... high political office & Trilateral Commission membership. And Colin Powell saying Armitage is his "white son". That's the same Colin Powell whom MSM routinely portray as the good, moral, character in George W Bush's administration.

Yet again, you really couldn't write this shite and expect to be believed....
I must be cross-eyed or something because I believe it. Big Grin
Obama: Trilateral Commission Endgame (Update 1) [Image: printButton.png] [Image: emailButton.png]
By Patrick Wood, Editor
January 30, 2009

[Ed. note: For clarity, members of the [Image: info.gif]Trilateral Commission appear in bold type.]

As previously noted in Pawns of the Global Elite, Barack Obama was groomed for the presidency by key members of the Trilateral Commission. Most notably, it was Zbigniew Brzezinski, co-founder of the Trilateral Commission with David Rockefeller in 1973, who was Obama's principal foreign policy advisor.
The pre-election attention is reminiscent of Brzezinski's tutoring of Jimmy Carter prior to Carter's landslide election in 1976.
For anyone who doubts the Commission's continuing influence on Obama, consider that he has already appointed no less than eleven members of the Commission to top-level and key positions in his Administration.
According to official Trilateral Commission membership lists, there are only 87 members from the United States (the other 337 members are from other regions). Thus, in less than two weeks since his inauguration, Obama's appointments encompass more than 12% of Commission's entire U.S. membership.
Is this a mere coincidence or is it a continuation of dominance over the Executive Branch since 1976? (For important background, read The Trilateral Commission: Usurping Sovereignty.)
 • Secretary of Treasury, Tim Geithner
 • Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice
 • National Security Advisor, Gen. James L. Jones
 • Deputy National Security Advisor, Thomas Donilon
 • Chairman, Economic Recovery Committee, Paul Volker
 • Director of National Intelligence, Admiral Dennis C. Blair
 • Assistant Secretary of State, Asia & Pacific, Kurt M. Campbell
 • Deputy Secretary of State, James Steinberg
 • State Department, Special Envoy, Richard Haass
 • State Department, Special Envoy, Dennis Ross
 • State Department, Special Envoy, Richard Holbrooke
There are many other incidental links to the Trilateral Commission, for instance,
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is married to Commission member William Jefferson Clinton.

Geithner's informal group of advisors include E. Gerald Corrigan, Paul Volker, Alan Greenspan and Peter G. Peterson, among others. His first job after college was with Henry Kissinger at Kissinger Associates.

Brent Scowcroft has been an unofficial advisor to Obama and was mentor to Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
Robert Zoelick is currently president of the [Image: info.gif]World Bank

Laurence Summers, White House Economic Advisor, was mentored by former Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin during the Clinton administration.
There are many other such links, but these are enough for you to get the idea of what's going on here.

Analyze the positions

Notice that five of the Trilateral appointees involve the State Department, where foreign policy is created and implemented. Hillary Clinton is certainly in line with these policies because her husband, Bill Clinton, is also a member.

What is more important than economic recovery? Paul Volker is the answer.

What is more important than national intelligence? Gen. James Jones, Thomas Donilon and Adm. Dennis Blair hold the top three positions.
What is more important than the Treasury and the saving of our financial system? Timothy Geithner says he has the answers.
The State Department is virtually dominated by Trilaterals: Kurt Campbell, James Steinberg, Richard Haass, Dennis Ross and Richard Holbrooke.
This leaves Susan Rice, Ambassador to the United Nations. The U.N. is the chosen instrument for ultimate global governance. Rice will help to subvert the U.S. into the U.N. umbrella of vassal states.

Conflict of interest

Since 1973, the Commission has met regularly in plenary sessions to discuss policy position papers developed by its members. Policies are debated in order to achieve consensuses. Respective members return to their own countries to implement policies consistent with those consensuses.
The original stated purpose of the Trilateral Commission was to create a "New International Economic Order." Its current statement has morphed into fostering a "closer cooperation among these core democratic industrialized areas of the world with shared leadership responsibilities in the wider international system." (See The Trilateral Commission web site)
U.S. Trilateral members implement policies determined by a majority of non-Americans that most often work against the best interests of the country.
"How," you say?
Since the administration of Jimmy Carter, Trilaterals held these massively influential positions:
 • Six out of eight World Bank presidents, including the current appointee, Robert Zoelick
 • Eight out of ten U.S. Trade Representatives
 • President and/or Vice-President of every elected administration (except for Obama/Biden)
 • Seven out of twelve Secretaries of State
 • Nine out of twelve Secretaries of Defense
Is this sinking in? Are you grasping the enormity of it?
Endgame is at hand

For the Trilateral crowd, the game is about over. The recent reemergence of original members Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Brent Scowcroft and Paul Volker serves to reinforce the conclusion that the New International Economic Order is near.
The Trilateral Commission and its members have engineered the global economic, trade and financial system that is currently in a state of total chaos.
Does that mean that they have lost? Hardly.
As I recently wrote in Chorus call for New World Order, they are using the crisis to destroy what remains of national [Image: info.gif]Sovereignty, so that a New World Order can finally and permanently be put into place.

Conclusion

The Obama presidency is a disingenuous fraud. He was elected by promising to bring change, yet from the start change was never envisioned. He was carefully groomed and financed by the Trilateral Commission and their friends.

In short, Obama is merely the continuation of disastrous, non-American policies that have brought economic ruin upon us and the rest of the world. The Obama experience rivals that of Jimmy Carter, whose campaign slogan was "I will never lie to you."
When the Democrat base finally realizes that it has been conned again (Bill Clinton and Al Gore were members), perhaps it will unleash a real political revolution that will oust Trilateral politicians, operatives and policies from the shores of our country.
If the reader is a Democrat, be aware that many Republicans and conservatives are still licking their wounds after finally realizing that George Bush and Dick Cheney worked the same con on them for a disastrous eight years of the same policies!
