Keep in mind, that
in regard to the employees, and residents, who knew the building...and those
that did not....the distinction....being..
Some that would and did not
know, regarded the basement, as the first floor.
The entrance, where the
decorative work is on the building, ( gone now) street level is the basement,
with the stairs that lead up to what is the FIRST floor.......
The bottom
floor (basement) as we see it, where the entrance is with the decorative walls
below is the basement, then there were 6 floors above that.....that has always
been the confusion, in this regards..with many.....
