"The two citizen-parent requirement (not only just one parent) comes from the definition of a "natural born Citizen" referring to the child's parents in the plural. It also comes from the common law that provided that a woman upon marriage took the citizenship of her husband. Both parents must also be citizens in order for the child not to be born subject to any foreign power and therefore with any other conflicting allegiance or loyalty. Hence, given the Framers' use of the "natural born Citizen" clause, they required a would-be President to have both (1) birth on United States soil (or its equivalent) and (2) birth to two United States citizen parents as necessary conditions of being granted that special status. Given the necessary conditions that must be satisfied to be granted the status, all "natural born Citizens" are "Citizens of the United States" but not all "Citizens of the United States" are "natural born Citizens."
Apparently the forgers of the "new" COLB from Obama DID NOT
KNOW THAT COMPUTER GENERATED DOCUMENTS CAN BE
REVERSE ENGINEERED to retrace the steps of creation.
Here is a video of a computer reverse engineering which shows
that the faked document was created using ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR.
The operator shows that a technique called LAYERING was used
to assemble the various components. Watch as the computer peels
away various layers.

This is fraud at the presidential level. Despite Dawn and Peter
being willing to "excuse" Obama with a pass on this, it is an
IMPEACHABLE CRIME. Not to use a racial pun, but "the jig is up!"
He has committed a crime.
Even if not so, the presented document PROVES Obama is not
"native born", since it lists only ONE parent who is a US citizen.
The constitution says
BOTH PARENTS MUST US CITIZENS.
This issue is NOT settled. With Obama joining the fight, it has
barely begun.

If it's not a big deal, and if the certificate is correct - why make it public now, and not a couple of years ago when questions around it started to emerge?

Funny, but a ridiculous distraction to a serious subject.
Jack
I disagree that this is a serious subject. The wars and the economy are serious. Obama's birth certificate is a distraction. It's about as important as the Royal wedding tomorrow.

Spoken like an ardent Democrat.

No Obama makes me sick I just think this is irrelevent given all that is going on in the counry.

As a lawyer you have no problem with an unlawful act by the president?
You have no problem with the constitutionality of his presidency?
Is Obama above the law?

Kenyan-born Obama all set for US SenateKenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.
The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.
Ryan's campaign began to crumble on Monday following the release of embarrassing records from his divorce. In the records, his ex-wife, Boston Public actress Jeri Ryan, said her former husband took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New Orleans.
Barrack Obama"It's clear to me that a vigorous debate on the issues most likely could not take place if I remain in the race," Ryan, 44, said in a statement. "What would take place, rather, is a brutal, scorched-earth campaign the kind of campaign that has turned off so many voters, the kind of politics I refuse to play."
Although Ryan disputed the allegations, saying he and his wife went to one avant-garde' club in Paris and left because they felt uncomfortable, lashed out at the media and said it was "truly outrageous" that the Chicago Tribune got a judge to unseal the records.
The Republican choice will become an instant underdog in the campaign for the seat of retiring Republican Senator Peter Fitzgerald, since Obama held a wide lead even before the scandal broke.
"I feel for him actually," Obama told a Chicago TV station. "What he's gone through over the last three days I think is something you wouldn't wish on anybody."
The Republican state committee must now choose a replacement for Ryan, who had won in the primaries against seven contenders. Its task is complicated by the fact that Obama holds a comfortable lead in the polls and is widely regarded as a rising Democratic star.
The chairwoman of the Illinois Republican Party, Judy Topinka, said at a news conference, after Ryan withdrew, that Republicans would probably take several weeks to settle on a new candidate.
"Obviously, this is a bad week for our party and our state," she said.
As recently as Thursday, spokesmen for the Ryan campaign still insisted that Ryan would remain in the race. Ryan had defended himself saying, "There's no breaking of any laws. There's no breaking of any marriage laws. There's no breaking of the Ten Commandments anywhere."

Well, Jack, they certainly aren't talking about Obama's birth issues today, are they? They are talking about the death of another deep political patsy, as confirmed by more fake photos and the shipping of the 4" steel beams to China... ooops, i meant the disposal of the body at sea.
1) Chester A Arthur was, by all accounts, born in Canada. None of the Republicans at the time had any problem with this. They just conveniently enlarged the state known as "Maine" to include everything north of New Hampshire.
2) I am positively appalled at the number of talking pinheads who don't know what a typewriter is who keep blathering on about how the "fonts" on the document don't match and how the darkness of the impressions varies. They apparently think that the government of Hawaii had word processors back in 1961. From the looks of it, the document wasn't even typed with an electric model. From what that intellectual giant, Alex Jones, has said, I don't even think he understands that the form was printed with linotype on a printing press using printer's ink and that the blanks were filled in with a typewriter using a cloth ribbon. It's understandable, I guess. The spellchecker here doesn't even recognize "linotype" as a word.
