because of current events surrounding lockerbie, I suppose?
i read most of the book on-line. disagree with author on perpetrators, although he makes a good case for iran and palestinians, and it's certainly not libya. makes more sense "david lovejoy" aka david lo choy was part of the secret team a la ollie north and together with cia agents with dea cover did it to stop a fact-finding delegation of cia, dia and nsa i suppose from returning to washington. coleman gets fingered as a patsy after one of the swashbucklers can't resist selling a story to solider of fortune magazine that blows some lids in nicosia and washington. didn't seem to address the fact cia planted the circuit board fragment at lockerbie to tie it to pop front of palestine actors arrested in germany prior with toshiba radio bombs, moulded semtex or c4. also didn't get into the missing bodies cia retrieved from lockerbie.
imo the author is sincere but the story serves a second layer of cover for the inevitable failure of the libyan tale.
book mentions nicosia courier/corea/kouriah operation (DEA/CIA) was moving arms, drugs and software, including PROMIS. the nicosia/frankfurt/detroit pipeline worked in both directions. dia comes out as the good guy for busting ollie north, pat robertson's drug running and drug operations in lebanon. that part is probably true, dia was the good guy there and then.
