Nice job by the reliable Martin Hay on making a mockery of the newest Krazy Kid Oswald fruitcake fest.

How on earth can anyone vouch for Brennan today? Martin shows how he refused to testify for the HSCA.

BTW, there is a question brought up by Ian Griggs about whether or not Brennan was ever at a lineup.

Weird. Most LNers don't rely on Howard Brennan anymore, and for good reason.

The book currently has 8 one-star reviews and 6 five-star reviews on Amazon.

Ayton and Von Pein Upended at CTKA - Albert Doyle - 02-04-2015

Those 5-star reviews are just the usual denier goons who always show up to endorse any pro-Warren Report work.

Ayton and Von Pein Upended at CTKA - Drew Phipps - 02-04-2015

Since the authors have completely misrepresented the legal concept and principles underlying the very title of their book, I'd go for one star.

God I can't even read the review. How did Martin read the freakin book????? Good for him for taking the time to read and review just one more piece of crap. I remember Ayton from the old days on the Ed forum and VP is in my opinion a paid disinformationist.

The great Al Rossi asked, "Who do these people write for today?"

In other words, like Bugliosi, this book has nothing new that is of any consequence. So why write the book?

I think its a confession that Bugliosi failed. I mean RH bombed and the movie Parkland bombed even worse.

But the point is, this book also bombed. They don't get the point I guess. Unless you can come up with something new and of consequence, the public is not buying this crap, even when its forced down their veins with IV's as was the 50th.

The other thing is that Ayton I think miscalculated the effect Von Pein's name would have on the book. I mean its like having the rabid zealot David Belin's name on it. What's the point in buying it since people know what is going to be in it.

Martin Hay:

Quote:" If he did not retrieve it on the morning of the assassination then he never did so because at no other time was he seen taking a package from the Paine home, at no time was any rifle seen at his rooming house, and at no other time did he take a package into the Book Depository. November 22 was his one and only opportunity. Which means that if the package he carried that morning did not contain the rifle--and the preponderance of evidence tells us it did not--then someone else placed it on the sixth floor of the depository building, and Oswald was exactly what he said he was: A patsy. "

It is possible the Oswald double Ralph Yates saw took the rifle into the Depository and that the plotters killed two birds with one stone by framing Oswald with the performance given to Yates on the way.

There have been dozens of books defending the official story, many claiming to be the "definitive account that closes the case." But each year, another one is required!

Ayton and Von Pein Upended at CTKA - Albert Doyle - 03-04-2015

The Oswald double witnessed by Ralph Yates had what looked like a complete rifle wrapped in brown paper. Yates last saw him walking towards the Depository entrance. It would make sense to at least consider that this is how the Carcano rifle got into the Depository. I don't think Martin Hay believes the Yates account so that is why he doesn't mention this possibility.

It also looks like DPD Day possibly forged evidence with the palm print.

A sample of David Von Pein's jaw-dropping ignorance of this case (from an Amazon comment thread). As I've suspected, when you get him away from copying/pasting Bugliosi "evidence" from the 6th floor, he is completely at sea on this subject.

[Image: carrot._V192251235_.gif]TLR says:

Bill Alexander was a nut and a right-wing extremist ('In Dallas, Assistant District Attorney William Alexander snarls on a TV show: "Earl Warren shouldn't be impeached-he should be hanged."' (TIME magazine, 6/14/1968)) "...described his political philosophy as being 'just to the left of Little Orphan Annie and just to the right of the John Birchers.'" (Elmer Gertz) Jim Hosty recalled how "Vince Drain told me a story about how Alexander, in front of his son, shot the boy's dog dead to get a point across. Alexander was feared, not respected, by others...he got too chummy with the local police. He was always out riding shotgun in the patrol cars and executing search warrants with them. In the off-hours, he was out boozing it up with the cops as well." Alexander was a "frequent drinking customer" at the Carousel Club. Though he had assured Ruby that statements he made during his initial interrogation would be "off the record," Alexander used them in the trial anyway. (Assignment Oswald p125) Alexander raided Joe Molina's house in the middle of the night and terrified his family into thinking he was a suspect in the assassination.

A small sampling of "Dallas justice."

I could be wrong (since I know absolutely NOTHING about Assistant DA Alexander), but I'd bet a small sum of cash that most of the above trash talk against Bill Alexander should probably be placed in the bulging file known as: "More CT Myths".
