Occupy Everywhere - Sept 17th - Day of Rage Against Wall Street and what it stands for! - David Guyatt - 24-05-2013 Peter Lemkin Wrote:[To me, it is clear that the Police and the ENTIRE 'governmental system' are there for the Bankers and NOT for the People!] Unquestionably true. It's business as usual. The state is engaged in business. It collects taxes from Wall Street and other business sectors and promotes their interests in return. It's a nice comfortable scratch my back and I'll scratch yours situation. The police, military and other state assets are control mechanisms - to be used at home and overseas to ensure that business as usual continues as usual. Interruptions to this process are not permitted. The state also collects taxes from citizens - who account for the largest revenue streams for government - but the latter are not organised and therefore are not considered important enough to warrant listening to - other than at election time, when their votes are needed. But once in office they can be ignored again until the next election. The function of citizens is to work, pay their taxes and buy things. The elite understand that "democracy" is a theatre play used to control and focus society for the sole purpose of enabling them to make loadsa money. The end.
Occupy Everywhere - Sept 17th - Day of Rage Against Wall Street and what it stands for! - Lauren Johnson - 29-06-2013 Occupy movement seen as a "terrorist activity" Quote:Would you be shocked to learn that the FBI apparently knew that some organization, perhaps even a law enforcement agency or private security outfit, had contingency plans to assassinate peaceful protestors in a major American city and did nothing to intervene? Would you be surprised to learn that this intelligence comes not from a shadowy whistle-blower but from the FBI itself specifically, from a document obtained from Houston FBI office last December, as part of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by the Washington, DC-based Partnership for Civil Justice Fund?http://whowhatwhy.com/2013/06/27/fbi-document-deleted-plots-to-kill-occupy-leaders-if-deemed-necessary/ Occupy Everywhere - Sept 17th - Day of Rage Against Wall Street and what it stands for! - Magda Hassan - 30-06-2013 Oh, my. Here are the memos: [ATTACH=CONFIG]4927[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]4928[/ATTACH] Occupy Everywhere - Sept 17th - Day of Rage Against Wall Street and what it stands for! - Peter Lemkin - 30-06-2013 Released FBI documents reveal plans to assassinate OWS activists presstv. Jason Leopold, an investigative journalist for Truth-Out, has obtained FBI documents - through the Freedom of Information Act - relating to Occupy Wall Street. Most of the pages in the documents are redacted, and show concerns of cyber threats against the financial sector. However, there are questions of assassination plots against Occupy activists in Houston, Texas. Because the documents have redactions, it is not clear who or what group was planning the assassinations. ![]() On page 61, the section reads: "An identified [redacted] of October planned to engage in sniper attacks against protesters in Houston, Texas, if deemed necessary. An identified [redacted] had received intelligence that indicated the protesters in New York and Seattle planned similar protests in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin, Texas. [Redacted] planned to gather intelligence against the leaders of the protest groups and obtain photographs, then formulate a plan to kill the leadership via suppressed sniper rifles." ![]() The bottom of page 68 and the top of page 69 reads: "On October 13, 2011, writer sent via email an excerpt [redacted] regarding FBI Houston's [redacted] to all IA's, SSRA's and SSA [redacted]. This [redacted] identified the exploitation of the Occupy Movement by [redacted] interested in developing a long-term plan to kill local Occupy leaders via sniper fire." ragingchickenpress.org more http://www.presstv.com/usdetail/279777.html Occupy Everywhere - Sept 17th - Day of Rage Against Wall Street and what it stands for! - Peter Lemkin - 03-07-2013 A San Diego jury decided that a man should not face up to 13 years in jail for protesting Bank of America by writing in water-soluble chalk on the sidewalk in front of bank branch buildings. The man, Jeff Olson, said he was inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement and was engaging in political protest. A jury Monday acquitted a 40-year-old man of all charges connected with writing protest messages in chalk on the sidewalk outside branches of the Bank of America. Deliberating for only a few hours, the jury apparently agreed with Filner declaring Jeff Olson not guilty on all 13 misdemeanor counts filed by Goldsmith's office.
What was notable about the case, besides the heavy sentence, was that the judge had ordered that the First Amendment could not be invoked as a defense.Olson, who said he was inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement, never denied writing the slogans. One slogan said, "No thanks, big banks." Another, "Shame on Bank of America." And in yet another, the bank was portrayed as an octopus grabbing at cash with its tentacles. The judge in the case came under scrutiny when he ruled that the defendant and his lawyer could not even attempt to argue that the defendant was exercising his First Amendment rights in protesting the oft-maligned bank. The judge said that these were allegations of vandalism, and that the laws on vandalism don't include any exemptions for protest.
Despite the judge's instructions and a prosecutor out for blood, a jury of Olson's peers decided writing political protests in easily washed off chalk on the sidewalk was not something that warranted jail time.No word on whether Bank of America will be prosecuted for anything, ever. I'd note that Jeff Skilling, who stole billions using the Ponzi scheme called Enron will serve 13 years...and one could serve the same time for writing a protest in chalk on a sidewalk in the Empire! Occupy Everywhere - Sept 17th - Day of Rage Against Wall Street and what it stands for! - Peter Lemkin - 04-07-2013 If one reads the MSM one would hardly notice that over and over peaceful OWS demonstrators who were injured by out of control 'storm-trooper-Police' have been awarded large sums for their injuries and against the municipalities - however, very few of the Police have been demoted or punished in any way.... OAKLAND (CBS/AP) The Oakland City Council has agreed to pay more than $1 million to settle a lawsuit filed by a dozen Occupy Oakland protesters who said they were the victims of excessive force during clashes with police during a protest in 2011. The $1.17 million payout follows criticism by outside experts who said the Oakland Police Department was understaffed and not prepared to deal with the demonstrations. The agreement requires police to adhere to their crowd-control policies. Two plaintiffs, Suzi Spangenberg and Sukay Sow, who said they were injured by flashbang grenades thrown by officers will get $500,000 and $210,000, respectively. Sow said she suffered a second-degree chemical burn on her foot during the clash at a City Hall camp. The first tip off that Obama was just another punk was when he did NOT initiate legal prosecution of Bu$h/Cheney/Yoo/Addington. So impeach all the liars! Occupy Everywhere - Sept 17th - Day of Rage Against Wall Street and what it stands for! - Tracy Riddle - 05-07-2013 Shooting Occupy leaders using suppressed sniper rifles. You wonder how long they've been using that tactic. At least 50 years, I'd say. Occupy Everywhere - Sept 17th - Day of Rage Against Wall Street and what it stands for! - Peter Lemkin - 13-07-2013 New documents show Occupy groups also on IRS watch list Gregory Korte, USA TODAY 2:49 p.m. EDT July 12, 2013 ![]() (Photo: Al Behrman, AP) Story Highlights
Those documents "raise serious questions" about the inspector general's report in May that first disclosed the scope of an IRS program to target political groups, said Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee. But the documents also suggest that the Internal Revenue Service saw the Tea Party as a separate class. The notes of a July 28, 2010, workshop in Cincinnati, for example, instructed front-line screeners to "err on the side of caution" and "re-emphasize" that all potential political groups were to be marked for more investigation. The notes also said that "'Progressive' applications are not considered 'Tea Parties.'" Tea Parties, patriot groups and groups affiliated with the conservative "9/12 project" were kept on an "emerging issues" list that caused their applications to be held up for 27 months even as progressive groups had their tax exemptions approved. Another key word revealed in the documents for the first time is "pink-slip program," an apparent reference to a conservative movement to "send Congress a pink slip" by voting members out of office. STORY: IRS approved liberal groups while Tea Party in limbo The IRS defined Occupy groups as "organizations occupying public space protesting in various cities ... claiming social injustices due to 'big money' influence." It's unclear whether any Occupy-style or pink-slip groups ever applied for tax-exempt status. A search of IRS records shows that none had received it as of May. An e-mail released by Cummings also shows the inspector general examined 5,500 e-mails from IRS employees in Cincinnati and found no evidence that the Tea Party targeting described in the May 14 report was politically motivated. "The e-mail traffic indicated there were unclear processing directions and the group wanted to make sure they had guidance on processing the applications so they pulled them. This is a very important nuance," said a May 3 e-mail from the deputy inspector general for investigations. The scope of that investigation wasn't included in the final report. Cummings said it was edited out. J. Russell George, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, has repeatedly testified that there was no evidence of political motivation. But he also described his report as an "audit" and not an investigation, and said the report wasn't designed to answer the questions of why the targeting occurred. "We stand by our report and its findings," said Karen Kraushaar, a spokeswoman for the inspector general. Cummings said the documents "directly contradict numerous public accusations by congressional Republicans that the White House and other administration officials targeted Tea Party organizations for partisan political reasons." He wants the Oversight Committee to bring the inspector general back to toccupestify next week "to explain why he failed to disclose this critical information." Congressional Republicans, however, said the documents show Tea Party groups were indeed given more scrutiny. "These documents, once again, refute misleading attempts to equate routine scrutiny of other groups involved in advocacy to the systematic scrutiny of Tea Party groups by IRS officials," said Frederick Hill, a spokesman for Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., the chairman of the House Oversight Committee. "As has been documented, while 100% of Tea Party applications were systematically stopped and scrutinized for a 27-month period, at the same time dozens of progressive applications were approved by the IRS." |
