In regard to the neighbours supplying weapons, whatever happened regarding the report that one of the assault rifles was bought by someone on behalf of the police department?

So, to recap on the inconsistencies in this awful event.
There are three witnesses who dispute the official version of events. Two of these say they saw three (3) muscular and athletic white men doing the shooting. A third witness says the shooter he saw wasn't Syed Farook, whom he knew. The assault rifle used was bought by someone on behalf of the police department. And now neither Farook or Malik had any connections to ISIS or Islamic extremists via social media as has been extensively reported by the media.
Meanwhile the husband and wife are dead and it seems the real perps have escaped the scene and are as free as birds.

One additional note to the summary you provide - most Americans still believe the original story/propaganda and these later 'corrections' have no effect - just like most still believe Saddam Husein had something to do with 911. Propaganda works on idiots who believe what they are told without question and have no historical background about anything factual nor how often [almost always] they are deceived by 'official sources and media'.

I appreciate that Pete, and agree with you. All we can do is correct the record for those who are inclined towards a greater awareness. The vast majority of people are beyond our reach, such is the power of lies and propaganda in our world.

The pattern is pretty much like this: the media and government give us some details about how the crime occurred for a couple of days, and then switch to the emotional elements (the families, the victims, memorials, psychologists on TV) and political interpretation (immigration, radical Islam, gun control, terrorism, more police powers), and then the public tunes it all out and moves on.
Any "corrections" that come out later are ignored, especially since most of the country has already internalized the official story and some political narrative they picked up in their favorite partisan media ("It's Obama's fault! It's Bush's fault! It's the immigrants! It's the guns!").
After 9/11, almost immediately everybody corralled themselves into their predictable camps: the Left with "blowback" or Bush admin failures, the Right with war, torture and surveillance.
The actual investigation of the crime and how it happened, and could it have happened the way the authorities claimed, no longer interests most people.

The saddest part of 'all this' is this is a constant pattern in which we now exist....not only is there little awareness or interest to get to the bottom of any such event, but about the time the truth that debunks the official story seeps out there is a NEW event to capture the attention of the masses, who view real life more like a TV series than it being their own real lives and polity [such as it is]. I think I would not be amiss to predict a 'Christmas or New Year's' massacre of some type somewhere along these lines - sadly. They seem to be spaced about 2, 3 or 4 weeks apart. Gladio has gone global, and also come home to roost..... what LITTLE of our democracy and republic still exists is teetering on the edge of all-out fascist police state IMHO....all it needs is another 'new Pearl Harbor'...several of which I'm sure they have on the drawing boards and only await the right moment......
..........at the same time, I sense a not insignificant number of persons who don't buy the bullshit propaganda, but are also so alienated they don't actively try to change the system or build an alternative one. This silent minority is our only hope - the seed for change. This rotten system simply can not last. While it seeks to destroy us [most of humanity and other living things], it will also eventually destroy itself - but could well take most of humanity and life on the Planet with it. It is the evil that has always existed, but now at a very ebb tide in history. Something has to give, and the whole ball of wax is on the line, as I see it. We again have a bunch of bafoons to run for the Hidden Government's lead puppet position as President. Sanders is the only slight light and even he is wrong on Foreign Affairs and also has NO chance to win, IMHO...and were he to, there would be another 'Dallas'. The police, FBI and other such authorities are now nothing but nightmare frightening......and all institutions of power and government for which they work, as well. These mini-Pearl Harbors should really be telling us something.....there is something very rotten - and it ain't just in Denmark......:
