I have no idea if it was a lazy mistake. As a Beatles "scholar" it's rare to read an article in a magazine/newspaper or even in a book that does not contain either factual errors or mis-dated photos. It's possible whoever selected those two photos saw them credited somewhere as 1966. However, anyone well versed in Fab 4 history would immediately realise that the left photo is from much earlier.
In Fetzer's favour i did find this CIA/Mossad training video showing you how to be Paul McCartney. I suspect it's really from 1966 and not 2007. I'm surprised Fetzer hasn't used it as further proof as it strengthens his case. Maybe he's on to something after all.

I cannot even begin to describe who this guy is except that he may be worse than Cinque, Hankey, Judy Wood, and Morgan Reynolds.
I just saw a You Tube segment where he tried to say that Jackie Kennedy was actually Jimmy Carter's wife! This is based on a vein pattern on the back of the hand, which makes the infamous Weberman/Canfield "ear print" look kind of forensic by comparison.
Fetzer then says, "Are you calling me a fraud DiEugenio?"
No Jim, I just accurately describe the things you say and do. And I leave it up to the reader to conclude who you are.

It should be said, in fairness, that Fetzer didn't know what he had gotten into with Goldbug. He admittedly hadn't seen his crazy videos, or website and didn't know how to pronounce his name. This makes me wonder if Fetzer books his own guests. Apparently, Chiarini's theories are way too far out even for Fetzer and he tells him so at the end of this clip. So even Fetzer's an actor according to Goldbug.
