QUESTION: A cogent, verbally unimpaired Robert Webster told an individual with whom I am personally acquainted and who at the time was one of his few trusted health care providers that he was married to Marina Prusakova before she married Lee/Harvey Oswald. Can Ms. Ziger definitively confirm or deny this claim and otherwise comment on it?

I'd like to wholeheartedly support Charles Drago's question above about Robert Webster and Marina. Also....
If you reach Ana, could you ask her if Oswald ever voiced any opinions about the Soviet government and society, and if he ever compared it to the United States? Did he give any opinions about U.S. politics? Did he ever seem homesick?
Did she (Anita) wonder if LHO was a genuine defector or a spy? Does she have an opinion now about that question?
Also, would you ask Ana if she and LHO ever tried to communicate when her father wasn't around to translate? Did Marina ever help Anita to communicate with LHO?
Best of luck with the phone call. Sure hope you're able to make a connection and establish enough rapport to get a few answers. This could be a little tricky, which no doubt is hardly a news flash to you. Good luck again!

While an interesting 'question', I can't see how Ana would have any idea about Webster or Marina's relationship with him. I also feel, a call to Ana from alt. conspiracy would already have greatly 'spoiled the waters'. Further, I think to not include Ernst in a party call would be a serious mistake. FWIW.
Sadly, most here have not read Titovet's book and have no idea of what's in it. I can tell from the questions and comments.

How do you get the unabridged book? I downloaded that pdf and it is the craziest thing I have ever seen. Each chapter has the first three or four pages, and the rest is excised. I mean, who can read something like that? I gave up.

Rimma Shirakova, Oswald's Intourist guide told the author Norman Mailer that Oswald "didn't seem to know a word of Russian," when she was with him. Mailer also reported that employees at the Minsk Radio Plant also believed him to speak little or no Russian when he first arrived there. (Norman Mailer, Oswald's Tale, pp. 43, 85.)
According to Mailer, "Igor Ivanovich Guzman," a pseudonym of a KGB official the author interviewed in 1993, was tasked to "make certain that the Americans had not schooled him [Oswald] in Russian and he was concealing the knowledge. That was difficult to determine, but could be examined by observing closely how he proceeded to acquire more language proficiency. So, that would also become a task for any person teaching him Russian. The monitor would have to be able to determine whether Oswald was jumping from lesson to lesson with suspicious progress, or, taking the contrary case, was he experiencing real difficulty?"(ibid, p. 71)
Mailer wrote that KGB officials interviewed LHO's friends, co-workers, and acquaintences regularly to see if there was any sign Oswald was proficient in Russian, concluding that he had no training in Russian.
(If anyone has a copy of Oswald's Tale, I'd appreciate confirmation of the above. I took the excerpts above off the Web.)

Hi Jim, does JA know any thing about LHO's learning Russian in the USSR? Most foreigners would do at least a year sometimes a year and a half full time study at a language insisute before they would be trained in their technical specialty. This doesn't seem to be the case for Oswald but it seems strange he would have received no training at all whilst there.

I don't think JA has any info on Russian language training. Bear in mind, though, that LHO was working full time at the factory with Ana's father, spending time with his family in the apartment next to the Ziegers, and spending a number of evenings each week at the Ziegers, and so if he got any formal training, it would have been limited.
