Intelligent people make idiotic statements on occasion, due to the vagaries of human nature.
The notion that two bullets entered JFK's back -- while leaving only one set of bullet holes in the clothes -- is idiotic.
Isn't it?
The notion that multiple inches of JFK's clothing bunched up entirely above a "high" back wound at the base of his neck -- without pushing up the jacket collar -- is idiotic.
Even David Von Pein stipulates to this fact.
Physical evidence in a murder case is paramount.
But not JFK.
In this case the physical evidence is routinely ignored by Pet Theorist Researchers.

I did not say I agreed with it. But these are supposed to be the official photos before they were doctored up by Ida Dox on the orders of Baden.
Make of it what you will, there are all kinds of possibilities.

I noted Baden's utter dishonesty during the HSCA hearings (and since) but this is the first I am hearing that he actually ordered the falsification of evidence. (What is your source for this Jim? ) He's way more slimy than I realized.

Ida Dox doctored the so-called wound in the skull on her illustrations. As Gary Aguilar, among others, have noted, in her portraits, that spot of whatever it is, has ridges around it to make it look more like a bullet wound. That appearance is not in the actual photos at NARA.
Dr. Randy R discovered a memo by Baden to Dox which ordered her to "do better" to make the spot look more like a wound. This is why it looks like it does today in her illustrations.
Well, it turns out she did the same with the back wound. And anyone can tell that when you look at Ryan's essay since he compares what Dox did to what the autopsy photos actually depict. She erased out what some may call a second wound.

Dox drew what turns out to be a manipulated brain that was damaged in order to escape having to account for the lack of damage on the original photographed brain.
It is well within intel capability to have gotten duplicates of the shirt and jacket and shot only one hole in them. Do I think this happened? My instincts would lean towards no, but if they were altering wounds they could easily alter clothing.

BTW, let me add here, Bugliosi actually printed the Ida Dox drawing of the rear skull wound in his book, with no comment as to how it had been altered.
That was a giveaway for me that Vince was not being honest and had thrown his lot in with the Single Bullet Fantasy clowns e.g. Dale Myers, Von Pein, Sturdivan, Rahn, McAdams etc.
In other words what he was doing was mainly political and not truthful, logical, or scientific.
PS Her real name is not Ida Dox, that is a pseudonym.

Job #1 of the JFK cover-up was the suppression of the physical evidence.
The body was hijacked, and possibly altered.
The autopsists wanted to examine the clothing but were denied.
The body was buried.
The clothing evidence has been misrpresented/ignored for over 51 years, for reasons sinister and benign.
The USG had to ignore he clothing evidence because it proved conspiracy; Pet Researchers like Jim DiEugenio and friends ignore the clothing evidence most likely because it takes them places they can't go.
Jim, have you ever asked the question -- "What happened to the bullets causing the back and throat wounds?"
That's an uncomfortable question for people who simply can't do "high strange."
The bullets removed prior to the autopsy?
High strange.
Bullets designed to dissolve in the body and not show up in the autopsy?
Even more high strange.
Folks born before 1970 were influenced by James Bond -- they can't take that high tech weaponry stuff seriously.
Folks born after 1970 were more apt to be influenced by "The Matrix" films by Andy & Lana Wachowski.

The autopsy photos (that we've seen) are so poor; no one is using a pointer or finger to clearly indicate the location of bullet wounds. A ruler is sort of dangling out there for no particular reason. Many of the photos are hard to even orient properly.
