2017JFK.org has been launched with content - Magda Hassan - 26-08-2015 I think CD did, briefly. With GME. Shortly before Mary's death. It was an, ahem, interesting story. Might come up in a search. 2017JFK.org has been launched with content - Jim DiEugenio - 27-08-2015 Can you dig it up Magda? I vaguely recall it. It is the closest anyone had come to meeting this guy up close and personal. 2017JFK.org has been launched with content - David Healy - 27-08-2015 Jim DiEugenio Wrote:Can you dig it up Magda? pretty sure you can find it on Monk"s board... fairly recent, too! below ? http://forum.assassinationofjfk.net/index.php/topic/1651-oliver-curme-founder-and-funder-of-the-mary-ferrell-foundation-surfaces/?hl=%2Boliver+%2Bcurme 2017JFK.org has been launched with content - Magda Hassan - 27-08-2015 David Healy Wrote:Jim DiEugenio Wrote:Can you dig it up Magda? He would not divulge the location of the materials or offer specifics on the measures undertaken to secure them.[6] Further, he stated in no uncertain terms that public access to the archives was not contemplated. I sort of thought that this was the whole point. Why not? 2017JFK.org has been launched with content - Magda Hassan - 27-08-2015 There is quite a bit that is puzzling about much of this. Not to mention, ahem, there is something about Mary. 2017JFK.org has been launched with content - Tom Bowden - 27-08-2015 Magda Hassan Wrote:There is quite a bit that is puzzling about much of this. In our discussions, he always felt MF was an asset and was not to be trusted. I have had recent conversations with Jimmy and his sister. They have not been satisfied with the Archive arrangement. Especially their response to Jimmy's cancer expenses. I have noticed the archives does not contain information on certain influential families in Dallas. 2017JFK.org has been launched with content - Jim DiEugenio - 27-08-2015 TB: R B Cutler knew MF for a long time and in fact used to stay at the Ferrell house on his occasional visits to Dallas. I do not know, but sense that he is not directing any of this, but only following instructions. Others seem to be pulling the strings. Large collections of JFK research, such as Ferrells (no matter where one comes down on what Mary was and what her ultimate motive(s) were) and those of Jay Harrison [to cite two important examples] being largely restricted from 'public access' or access from most serious researchers is troubling! I got into some dispute some years back with Walt Brown over access to the Harrison files. I was at first told I could get access if I paid for copies. I agreed, but was then angrily told that I nor anyone else Walt didn't want to have access to the materials would get access. The reasons for the change were never explained. To my knowledge, only Joan Mellen has had nearly unrestricted access - but I could be wrong on that. We all realize the need to protect such collections from natural hazards, decay, as well as malevolent actions of those who would not like the truth about Dallas to come to the fore....but such can easily be accomplished in various forms. The MFF [in its electronic internet portal] is a good resource, but is it ALL that Many Ferrell had collected. I think not. Others think not. If not, why not?! |
