Peter, I read your posts, I know you are as frustrated with the RT/Sputnik flavored aroma around here (I can smell Glenn Greenwald from his Brazil location.) Part of my point is FoxTrump channel trolls are not information sources, Mueller is not his wife's great uncle, Earle, or his mother's in-law, Bissell, any more than Peter Janney is his CIA father or Uncle Frank Pace. Janney was confronted with facts he and John Simkin definitely did not appreciate.
My core point is opposite of personal. It is, when the facts are not on your side, do not resort to undermining the reputation of the messenger. I am not a "DiEugenio protege"...the Janney ploy when my facts ruined his day. Mueller is not the problem. No republican in yesterday's hearing happened to mention the Mueller report specifically cleared Jeff Sessions, ( LINK } or that Papadopoulos's wife was employed by republican pinata, Joseph Mifsud.

As in the posts in this thread I pushed back against in my last post, can everyone at least consider debating the facts instead of shooting the messenger? BTW, I got no reply to my objection to being accused of coming under the influence of Shaw biographer, Donald Carpenter. So, the tactic is full circle....it is unproductive BS. If the facts threaten a posters position, silence is better to resort to than a tarred brush!

I have watched John Soloman and Sara Carter (maybe) 50 or more times on TV. They are both obviously sincere people. This can not be said about ex-CIA intern Anderson Cooper or the brilliant (but biased) Rachel Maddow both of whom I regularly watch, too.
As for the influence of the Cabell brothers on the thinking of Robert Mueller---I wasn't suggesting that they influenced Robert Mueller on a face-to-face basis.
Let me only suggest that, if certain things people believe about the Cabell brothers happens to be true, then that would make them essentially serial killers. If I had Jeffry Dahmer or Charles Manson on my recent family tree, I would do everything I could to keep that quiet. The Cabell brothers might even have been as bad or worse considering their possible bad impact on the US.
Imagine watching the Zapruder film and realizing that your grandfather and his brother were responsible for that in a major way. NO THANKS!!!!!
As proven in the book Hit List, by Richard Belzer, there were over 100 witnesses murdered in the aftermath of the JFK assassination. That's serial murder by any definition.
The family of Senator Joseph McCarthy had a major ordeal in managing and suppressing the personal papers of their (basically evil) forbear. What would happen to folks related to the Cabell brothers if they were outed as JFK assassination leaders? Would their phone ever stop ringing?
Fortunately, I don't personally have any murderers on my family tree and neither does my wife. But if I found out there was one, I am not telling anybody. And I can guarantee that.
And there is also the old (possibly biased) expression "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." That is, at least, something to ponder in re the JFK assassination and the Cabell brothers.
I should add that my impression of Mueller after watching him on TV is that he is (or was) a basically well-meaning person, but also appearing to have a conscience that has been wracked by his many years of moral compromise. Hence his fidgety nervousness. That's just my impression. Nothing more.
