Wonderful Adele. I hope they listen. After the HSCA debacle I have so little hope in our government ever to do the right thing on the assassinations of the 60's, or peace, or human rights...etc...I agree with Madga, when they come for the dissidents to put us in the FEMA camps at least I will know that I have tried to educate others, be it on forums, writing letters to our elected officials, or the editors, telling everyone I know how important these casues are. (I am so well known as a JFK assassination conspiracy-believer that at court people think that is how my husband Erick and I met: at a conference on the assassination. Wrong, we met at a LEGAL class). I have been laughed at behind my back by colleagues for my odd "obsession", but if obsession with truth and justice is odd then count me in.
I too am in the midst of a letter to Jim Douglas. We had a delightful correspondence in the late 90's and when I read he'd be presenting at Dallas this year that sealed the deal for me. I have already had one court case set to a different date than 11/20 to accomodate this COPA conf. What a line up!! And a great opportunity to see old and new friends.

Thank you, Magda and Dawn. for your support and encouragement. I, too, have reservations about what will happen, if anything, but, as Dawn says, to have done what one has done is enough to feel proud of one's life's efforts. When the truth is finally known about the Kennedy assassination, those laughing now will be made to realize how stupid they were.
Jim Douglass is a wonderful person. I have now purchased 8 copies of his book for my children and for friends. I won't be going to Dallas this year, but I hope to get a recording of his talk, and some of the others as well, after the meetings are over.
