Bill Hicks on JFK assassination - Myra Bronstein - 24-01-2010 Geoff Heinricks Wrote:One of the gems from Hicks, appropriate here: Yep. That's a gem alright. Then there's this one, that's been very popular of late, on the subject of Jay "Company Man" Leno: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbUlvlHF9Ys Bill Hicks himself was a gem. Welcome to DPF Geoff. (Team Conan!!!) Bill Hicks on JFK assassination - Myra Bronstein - 24-01-2010 Peter Lemkin Wrote:... I've been reading about it recently Peter, and smoking is supposed to be the top risk factor. Bill Hicks smoked like a chimney. It's hard to even find a photo of him without a cigarette. Bill Hicks on JFK assassination - Phil Dragoo - 25-01-2010 There was a link to Bill Hicks on jfklancer a couple of months ago, and he knocked me out. Absolutely knocked me out of my chair laughing, and crying. Geoff, regarding the new presidents being shown the Zapruder film from a new angle, that is exactly what Jim Villanucci the afternoon host of the top Albuquerque AM station said circa 2004. Jim Douglass in JFK and the Unspeakable notes Allen Dulles later commented, "That little Kennedy--he thought he was some kind of god." The implicit subtext is, "In future we shall show them at the first who is running the show." Bill Hicks on JFK assassination - Geoff Heinricks - 25-01-2010 Phil, I would imagine Jim Villanucci was very aware of Hicks's little metaphor. It has a shorthand now in conversation for when reality dawns on someone: it's called their 'Bill Hicks Moment'. |
