I concur with the tabulation above attributed to Jack White's research.
I've seen a photometric comparison using the known dimension of the newspapers to debunk the photos' authenticity.

I've always found the provenance to have a bad odor.
Marina claims to have taken the photos. On such and such a date. Oh--well, then on another date. The date jumps around--but I took them.

I thought this might be a good place to note something I just stumbled across while looking around and exploring things in general, something my dad once taught me to do as he drove around the back roads of wherever taking left-hand turns to see where that road went, going up private driveways just to see who and what and then apologize and turn back, and otherwise to follow one's nose and have a sense of curiosity.
I will be the first to say I am not a serious JFK researcher and certainly don't even belong in this thread or in this topic except in the vein of turning left to see what's here.
All that said, I discovered that the ancestors of a recent Bonesman who ran for the Presidency of the US against another Bonesman allegedly made their wealth importing opium from China and then turned to railroading and investment in some new-fangled device developed by a fellow named Bell that rang to signal its eagerness to talk.
Reading further, I discover that the Bonesman's family tree also holds Michael and Ruth Hyde Paine, in whose garage family friend Lee Harvey Oswald stored his rifle. [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forbes_family ]
Maybe you know this; make of it what you will, with no need to explain anything to me.

Peter Levenda's outstanding "Sinister Forces" trilogy explores the Paines and Hydes and Forbes etc, including their involvement in The Nine, extensively.
I wholeheartedly recommend Levenda's books.

Excellent eight-page article by James Fetzer exposing Hany Farid's ignorance of Jack White's fifteen anomalies regarding the Backyard Photos.
Fetzer's Assassination Science is an excellent acquisition. Its explication of optical densitometry is fatal to the 6.5 mm subway token placed into the revised x-ray record.

hi Dawn yes that is jack's work on his link if you find his video page there are others he has enabled for any who are interested...this Is not over by a long shot,it only has Been going on for all these many years now sheesh it was the photo of him holding the rifle and papers posted on the front page of life that at the time pretty well convinced the public he was guilty.....it appears this farid sp,,, work is funded by such as homeland security for one...surprise none,,same old gov sponsored scientific tests that are then pushed by the media endlessly,,,,nothing changes but that it mainly stays the same....but many are in on it now so it won't be over again for some time i am thinking it appears it is always pretty well the same antagonists who revert and show their true selves again that keep things in an upheavel...they are right into it on the ef..again some of the same old lnrs in pretend ctrs clothing at times...the worse kind imo...thanks.and .take care...b

If people used their brains for a half of second back then (and now) it would be patently obvious that no killer of a US president would first POSE with the kill rifle, the gun- (how could he "know" he'd need to shoot a cop?) - and his
Commie literature. The picture, instead of sealing LHO's presumed guilt should have had the exact opposite effect.
The killers left all these clues on purpose imho, sick sense of humor. To show that they ARE in control and we can't do a damn thing about it.

A curious thing: I had occasion to communicate with a high school friend from the year of the assassination who is now involved in the family's commercial graphics business.
He readily volunteered that he could prove the backyard photo(s) fake.
Not maybe, or might, or possibly--could.
I posit the sense that there has been a subway of truth beneath a street scene of lies is widespread--just not coaxed into consciousness.
