Bernard Kerik was just sentenced to four years in federal prison--slightly longer than prosecutors requested--after pleading guilty to eight felonies, including tax fraud and lying about a lot of things.

I was going to half-heartedly suggest as a "what next? remote tasering?" Jokingly. But figured, I've just started contributing on this forum & don't wish to appear to be seen as too far fetched. Even if it was intended to be humourous. Well the joke is on me apparently. This is madness of the highest order. If this is the price of "freedom" then I am not buying it. It will take the child of a senator or member of congress to be killed by a taser, in order for its use to be reconsidered. This is a vile weapon passed off as an effective policing tool.
