The Carriles case is a good example of CIA destruction of commercial aircraft containing innocent passengers. Carriles isn't on trial here, CIA is.
The 1976 CIA bombing of a commercial airliner came only 3 years after the Iberia Airlines jet containing Jimi Hendrix's manager Michael Jeffery had a bizarre and unexplainable mid-air collision with another jet over France.
Also, let's not forget that intel agencies were not averse to slaughtering hundreds of US sailors in their false flag attack on the USS Liberty. If the Liberty had sank I'm sure we would be going through all this "conspiracy theory nuttery" business coming from the same old sources. The Liberty is not only a good example of CIA's evil depravity, but also a good example of how they can cover-up their evil doings even when caught.
Carriles is important because some people have attacked my case against those who killed Hendrix and Jeffery by saying they would never have killed a planeload of people just to get to Jeffery. However, seeing these other cases you can see that not only would they but it was clearly their regular modus operandi as illustrated in those other cases.

Think also of Pan-Am 103 that blew up over Lockerbie.
As long as you can deflect the blame onto chosen enemies for such atrocities then I suppose the internal logic/thinking is that you've done nothing wrong?
And you won't get caught anyway...

Pan Am 103 should have been over the ocean when the bomb went off but it was delayed.

Brother, can you say that AGAIN!.....I've not done any statistical analysis, but my gut feeling is that up to 25% of all airplane 'crashes'/'disasters''/'explosions' are more likely Western Intel [mostly CIA, or their proxies] bombings from the sky in the name of the Heimat. :unclesam:

Venezuelans tortured by Luis Posada Carriles are collecting evidence of his crimes, hoping to bring U.S.-protected terrorist to justice someday, according to news reports.
Victims of the former CIA agent and of the Venezuelan political police have gathered 80 recorded testimonies on human rights violations committed by Posada Carriles between 1967 and 1974, the newspaper Ciudad CCS reported Monday.
Those materials corroborate his astonishingly cruel crimes in that country, the source adds, and his responsibility for the explosion of a Cuban airliner in October 1976 with 73 people onboard.
Venezuelan victims of torture during repression of leftist and student movements also have police files with conclusive evidence on the case, the article said.
One of the accusations is made by Brenda Esquivel, who in 1972 witnessed the murder of several colleagues and was then savagely tortured at an office of the political police in Maracay.
At that time she was eight months pregnant, and Posada Carriles ordered his henchmen to kill the baby she was carrying, she said.
For the last five years, Venezuela has asked the United States to extradite Posada Carriles, who in 1985 escaped from a prison in San Juan de los Morros, Guarico, while facing charges for the explosion of Cuban plane.
