The thing that was so worrisome about Morrow was that he seemed to have an agenda, and then he didn't care how he filled it in.
He wanted LBJ to be a big part of the plot.
So he filled that in with very questionable sourcing from say Sy Hersh, Phil Nelson, and Madeleine Brown.
Now, to me, that is not doing research. That is wish fulfillment.
And, if you can believe it, he is using Liz Smith now, former understudy to Hoover's mouthpiece Walter Winchell. (And promoter of Lamar Waldron's fantasies.) He once championed, of all people, David Heymann. Heymann was a proven serial liar. Who had been exposed several times. Most notably by Lisa Pease.
This is no way to prepare for the 50th. It plays right into their hands.
