Castle was an ROKC member and proxy. However, with all Armstrong shows the likelihood would be strong.

I think Jim D is coming around to the fact many things, including the Whaley story, are readily explained by the Harvey & Lee thesis.

To me, the Stuart Reed story is one of the smoking guns in this case. It must be a trillion-to-one odds that he would be wherever Oswald was that day to take appropriate photographs.

NOTE:Stuart L. Reed took a second photograph of McWatters' bus a few minutes later while the bus was stalled in traffic close to the TSBD. This was very near the time two police officers boarded the bus, looking for HARVEY Oswald. Reed then took a photo of the 6th floor window of the TSBD, and one hour later he took several photos of HARVEY Oswald as he was being escorted from the Texas Theater in handcuffs. Stuart Reed took all of these photos, which sequentially followed Oswald's movements, within 1 1/2 hours. Reed dropped his film off at a photo lab in Dallas, and then hurried to New Orleans to catch a boat to the Canal Zone. Prior to boarding the boat, Reed signed an authorization that allowed the FBI to pick up his developed photo slides in Dallas. The FBI told the WC that a government executive (Reed), answering to the military, took the photos. This seemed to satisfy the WC, and Reed dropped out of sight without ever seeing his photos.

Under the chapter heading "Police Officers Arrive At 10th & Patton" I think Armstrong made a typo. He wrote Croy and Westbrook got to McWatter's bus at 1:46 and then went to Oak Cliff at 1:52 - but I think he meant (12:46) and (12:52) respectively.

Probably the reason they yelled "We got him!" down to Hill from the balcony fire escape is because Lee was wearing a white T shirt and dark pants.

Drew Phipps Wrote:I wonder if Bob P. could identify that revolver from the shape of the sight and the length of the barrel... I saw a Colt Trooper .38 Special that looked similar, and a Colt Police .38 Special, but I have no idea when those guns were made.

John said he thought about this some more and now thinks that it may be Tippit's gun. Ted Callaway testified that he picked up the gun and had it for awhile after Tippit's body was taken to the hospital, and the picture with the gun and wallet may have been taken before the gun was brought to the hospital. Anyway, I'd love to see a comparison of this revolver with DPD issues.

Thanks.... to me, the 1:52 time seems too late and 12:52 too early, but I'll ask John about it.

Albert: Please don't refer to another forum as a "box of bullshit". Just because someone was a member there and posted here is no reason to delve into even bringing up that other forum.

Great work by JA. He called me and told me all of this but it was a lot to try to follow. Glad it's all posted here. I really think he has nailed it.

I have always thought this as well. A huge smoking gun. Absolute proof of foreknowledge.

The point being Armstrong has shown that Westbrook was so spooky that his membership in the 488th would probably be very likely, not to mention Westbrook's post-assassination career.

Somehow I wish Jim D would clarify his position on Armstrong.

Reed is condemning. As is the torn dollar. Spooks are also known to carry many wallets.

I just finished the whole thing. It is pretty much a slam dunk.

William Ralph Westbrook is pretty much scrubbed from Google and unfindable. I think he died in April 1996 at 78.

He escaped the hangman's noose at an armory in Washington DC for treason and the murder of a president.

Being scrubbed from Google is a sure sign of guilt.

Vancouver...This is it...This is it...

I asked John about the above and he says you're absolutely correct. I'll be correcting the website in a few minutes. Thanks again.
