Spies for Hire: Key Officers at Booz Allen Hamilton

As a key player in the Intelligence-Industrial Complex that spawned artificial telepathy, Booz Allen Hamilton deserves special attention.

The central importance of BAH becomes clear when one considers some of the stunning information unearthed by reporter Tim Shorrock in his new book Spies for Hire: The Secret World of Intelligence Outsourcing (Simon & Schuster: New York, 2008).

In Chapter 2, titled "Booz Allen Hamilton and the Shadow IC," Shorrock informs us that the spy business is booming, and BAH enjoys top ranking among those contractors who serve the "intelligence community."

In 2002, Booz Allen had more than 1000 former intelligence officers on its staff, and its government contracts rose dramatically after 911, "from $626,000 in 2000 to $1.6 billion in 2006. Most of the latter figure, $932 million, was with the Department of Defense, where Booz Allen's major customers included the NSA, the Army, the Air Force, the Defense Logistics Agency, and the National Guard. In 2006, it was one of seven firms awarded a ten-year contract to bid on up to $20 billion worth of work in command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaisance -- a mouthful of a term usually referred to as C4ISR -- for the Army's Communications and Electronics Command, which is based in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.

The term C4ISR is a perfect descriptor for Artificial Telepathy -- a powerful fusion of signal processing technologies that allows technicians to remotely gather and collect human intelligence (HUMINT) from the brain signals (SIGINT) of other human beings. As with C4ISR, Artificial Telepathy automates "signals collection" (eavesdropping) and "intelligence analysis" (figuring out what people intend to do) by utilizing satellites and computers, and the overall goal is military command and control.

Indeed, one might define Artificial Telepathy as a subset of C4ISR with a special focus on neurology, psychology and mind control. Artificial Telepathy is an exotic form of C4ISR that allows warriors to communicate nonvocally with soldiers in the field, enables spies and intelligence agents to perform reconnaisance and surveillance nonlocally by means of "remote viewing," and allows military officers to command and control the behavior of human minds at a distance, with the artificial aid of carefully networked satellite and computer technology.

Booz Allen Hamilton certainly has close ties to the contractors who worked on the Pentagon's "Stargate" program for psychic spying in the 1990s, and it took a lead role in development of the NSA's "Total Information Awareness" projects, mentioned in earlier posts.

BAH must certainly be on the short list of firms capable of designing and launching a system of space-based, mind-invasive weaponry. It has all the people, pull and know-how needed to put an "electronic concentration camp system" in place.

There is one Kissinger document in which he writes, "the illegal we do immediately; the unconstitutional takes a little longer."

Thanks Keith, I sort of remember that too, now that you mention it.

An interesting selection of data don't you think. Booz Allen must've offered a lot of money or threatened a lot of revenge - or both - one wonders?

Pretty clear in my mind that Daniel Domscheit-Berg wasn't just in disagreement with Assange et al., but was a penetration agent on a mission or missions. One can only hope the original leakers will re-leak this lost information. Yes, David, pretty interesting choice of materials to be destroyed! If my memory serves, he said he was just in disagreement over methods and was going to start his own anonymous whistleblower website - which he never did....I'd even bet one could not locate him at this time...as that was likely not his real name. Spooky, and shows what kind of forces Assange and Wikileaks [Manning and others] are all up against. Sadly, I fear short of a revolution few of them will live long lives or in freedom. Sign of the times.....

I agree with this quote from Peter.

---------------------
"Pretty clear in my mind that Daniel Domscheit-Berg wasn't just in disagreement with Assange et al., but was a penetration agent on a mission or missions. One can only hope the original leakers will re-leak this lost information. Yes, David, pretty interesting choice of materials to be destroyed!"

The whole affair from afar is Spooky.
Someday I hope disclosures will give away the game.
If the Empire were less reactive, there would be less Spook games.

Not all intell folks are dark force spooks as we all know or should by now.
Some are vile and appear from cover rarely.
Some are not vile.
For them to not disclose would be a "wrong" to self, to acquiesce by silence. Contrast that to the reaction to the "leaks" by the Empire no doubt cranking up the spook house shitheads and repression.
A high price has been paid before as well.

No doubt making the leaking more hazardous and difficult I imagine.
I do think the clerks will inherit, sort of.

WikiLeaks receive a threat from the head of the BND (Germany's 'CIA') on 19 December stating that WikiLeaks face immediate criminal prosecution if all files or reports related to the BND are not removed from the website.

January 2009Daniel is increasingly annoyed with his employer EDS and commits a hostile act. He ultimately accepts a one-year severance package that he says was 'lucrative'. He starts working full-time for WikiLeaks but without salary. Domscheit-Berg's tasks are further administrative duties, including liaising with the German foundation Wau Holland Stiftung which collects donations for WikiLeaks, and aspects of delivering and installing hardware. He is also a spokesperson to the German press.

WikiLeaks staff and volunteers return to Reykjavík on 5 January to research the IMMI, living together in a hotel flat at the Fosshotel. Daniel begins showing signs of unraveling, developing a relationship with the cartoon character on the packages of orange juice he drinks, and becoming increasingly intolerant of his environment and the others in the group.

This is when Daniel gets halfway through a tattoo that's to cover his entire back. Daniel subsequently tells the NY Times he'll never have it removed: his time with Assange and WikiLeaks was the best in his life. Daniel flees Iceland on 5 February; within one week he's living with Microsoft government relations lobbyist Anke Domscheit, a single mother ten years his senior.

Daniel's unraveling in Reykjavík didn't go unnoticed: WikiLeaks staff begin phasing him out of operations (such as Collateral Murder, Afghan War Diaries, Iraq War Logs, Cablegate, et al). He's not privy to any of the big leaks of 2010 and he never meets Assange again.

Daniel flees Iceland on 5 February, flies to Berlin, pops in at Dada Falafel, is introduced by a friend to Anke Domscheit. He spends a week sleeping on the 'red sofa' at the CCC, then moves in with her.
