doc39.pdf and doc72.pdf exceeded the size limit for uploads of PDFs, but uploaded anyway. If they won't open I'll repost them in another way.

Helen - I've looked at a couple of the documents and, as you suggested, they're important primary source material.

Thank you very much for making them available here.

Some excellent material in Helen's pdfs on the logistics of enabling Gehlen Org to function with both access to CIA funding and intelligence whilst reducing the risk of Gehlen Org being compromised, ie exposed.

Plausbile deniability. :call:

My pleasure, Jan. Everyone will notice they're redacted, but it's not too disconcerting in most places.

Hitler's skull? It's female... - John Judge - 26-01-2010

Mae Brussell believed from her research that Hitler and Eva survived the bunker and escaped. First to the Antarctic base in New Schwabbenland, set up by the Nazis in 1936, which was an underground base approachable by submarine, with warm inner arms of the sea at the center. Then on to Agentina. Mae heard a CNN news report in the mid-seventies that Hitler had reportedly died in Peru. What convinced me was the work of the leading forensic dentist in the US who worked for years to prove the thesis that it was not Hitler and Eva found burned in the bunker. He wrote an article in Vermont magazine about his years of meticulous research. He was told the story by a fellow student in the dentistry school at the University of Pennsylvania after the war. The student was Hugo Blaschke, mentioned in Cornelius Ryan's The Longest Day as well as other sources. Blaschke was Hitler's personal dentist. He confided that the ruse was perpetrated easily by replacing Hitler's dental records with that of the person they left dead in his place, causing an exact match later for identity. The same was done for Eva. This article shows the discrepancies between other reports of their dental history and what was found there. Remember that the main work asserting the death of Hitler in the bunker was by Hugh Trevor-Roper, who later wrote the introduction to Mark Lane's Rush to Judgment about the Kennedy assassination.

Thank you for that input John. And welcome to DPF. I sure would like to find that article from Vermont magazine. Do you recall the name of the author? The Dentist who met Hugo Blaschke.

Given that so many nazis escaped to other countries I would find it very odd if the top nazi didn't manage to escape, especially given the fact that it was clear for a while they were losing the war. I also find it very persuasive that Mae Brussell believed he escaped. She was amazing.

I wonder why they're identifying the skull pieces as being from a female. Did the decoy Eva skull get mixed up with the decoy Hitler skull?

Which brings us to the man who I nominate as the most dangerous and powerful escaped Nazi, Hans Kammler.

His importance may be measured in inverse proportion to his presence in the mainstream historical canon.

CNN began transmitting down the cable lines in 1980, John. If my memory serves.
