I couldn't help but be struck by the concepts expressed by Drago and the debate in Griffin's latest book on 9/11.

I'd only add that 'Sunstein's ilk of 'beneficial' cognitive diversity' = seeding confusion, doubt, and the fog of psywar within the reserach community and more so the Public, in general. [i.e. moving the debate and facts further from the truth and closer to the mythology [propaganda line] by adding doubt, divided camps and confusion that ONLY benefits the perpetrators of the crimes; their cover-up, and those that benefit from them; harming all others, history and truth....not to mention the tools for political and social change that comes from the power of true history and truth. Divide and conquer; lie and conquer. Seed doubt and conquer. Charles is correct - preserving and creating more and endless new doubt is the main objective and modus operandi of those who keep the truth hidden (and seemingly confused by artificial doubt) for the benefactors of the Big Lies.

Last week I watched Oliver Stone's JFK for the first time in 15 years. The glaring issue for me is that Stone has eliminated the forward thrust of JFK's head from his movie - the forward thrust of his head that is the central topic of this thread.
Stone focuses in minute detail on the "back and to the left" movement of Kennedy's head, going to the lengths of replaying the Zapruder footage 4 or 5 times, slowing and zooming in on it also - see from 3:20 in this clip. When I look at the z film, zoomed in and slowed down, I see an initial forward movement before the dramatic back-and-to-the-left movement, yet when Stone zooms in and slows down the Z footage for his movie, the forward movement is almost completely absent. Stone zoomed and slowed, so the forward movement should have become more obvious, yet instead it became all but absent.
Stone was working on the premise that the Z film is authentic, yet he seems to have edited out a crucial feature of the footage in order to make the facts fit his thesis.
What gives, Oliver Stone?

Also, Dan Rather has copped a lot of flack over the years over the "moved violently forward" comment he made about JFK in the Z film, but there is the chance that he may have been talking about the movement I have focused on in this thread - the violent forward movement - in which case he would seem to have copped a bad wrap over this issue.

Some years ago, in conversation with George Michael Evica, I opined that what he memorably termed that first "terrible sound" in Dealey Plaza was intended to provoke "cognitive dissonance" among those present.
More than a simple distraction, a loud and ominous noise akin to that which witnesses subliminally feared would occur during the motorcade was certain to blur perceptions for that brief but all-important timespan in which unclouded observations might have proved fatal for the conspiracy.
Over the intervening decades, that "terrible sound" has recurred in many forms -- audible and otherwise.

Yes. Conspiracy is proven absent the Z film. However the headshot does help prove it. And I am now in the "tampered with" camp, even though I have read none of the books dealing with alteration. That the car comes to a near full stop in the real Z film is proof enough to me. The conspirators did not wish the Secret Service to be implicated perhaps?

What I think Rather means by "violently forward" is a compression of Kennedy slowly leaning forward after the neck shot and the head shot explosion.
