The Simkin Spectacle - Jim DiEugenio - 26-06-2013 From the looks of it, they did. I think he is just going to leave the content up now. Which is good. Because there is some valuable info up there. The Simkin Spectacle - Lauren Johnson - 30-06-2013 EF's account has been suspended. It's done. The Simkin Spectacle - Magda Hassan - 30-06-2013 Oh, it does look like that, doesn't it? I am pleased I downloaded a copy of it. Sparticus is still up. The Simkin Spectacle - Anthony DeFiore - 30-06-2013 Brethren, The EF problem is no one listened. LOL for all us older people..... I believe that DP is a natural outgrowth of all the board nonsense on EF. So many posters were ruining the site, and IMHO, they did it on purpose. But with the brief Organizational theory that I possess, it is a natural occurrance of organizations to atrophy and decline. New roots and re-emerging branches always appear, they are stronger and more advanced in their growth. Like any great tree, an organization retains the best and the least are pruned. I had always found the DP forum better than any other one. I went to EF to search for information posted years ago. The thread destruction over there was terrible. But it gave room for DP to grow again. IMHO, I think the demise of the EF at this time is not only beyond coincidence, bt could be sinister. Perhaps the site was only the place for disinfo and monitoring. I had that opinion about five years ago. Held it close, and watched things develop. They developed all right. To a better, stronger, more learned and especially a more civil Deep Politics forum from here on out! "For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die." - EMK The Simkin Spectacle - Dawn Meredith - 30-06-2013 Lauren Johnson Wrote:EF's account has been suspended. It's done. It may be end of the month "time out". It would indeed be a shame if all that content was gone. Thanks Magda for downloading it. Dawn The Simkin Spectacle - Edwin Ortiz - 01-07-2013 Hi magda im so glad you downloaded a copy ...how big is the file. Magda Hassan Wrote:Oh, it does look like that, doesn't it? To avoid legal problems [Simkin might try...] such sharing would best be discussed via PM messaging, and not here openly on the Forum. Just my two cents. :p The Simkin Spectacle - Dawn Meredith - 01-07-2013 As I suspected, it was just the end of the month bandwidth issue. Just checked and EF is back up, not for posting, but to read. And judging from Evan's post it may remain up, or even return. Dawn. The Simkin Spectacle - Lauren Johnson - 19-07-2013 I haven't seen reference to this here yet. Here is JS's statement: Quote:After many appeals from serious researchers I have decided to reopen the JFK Forum. I will once again try to make it a place where members can rationally discuss the evidence. This time rule (iv) will be rigorously applied: The Simkin Spectacle - Charles Drago - 19-07-2013 In the event that you're curious about the level of discourse being encouraged at The Swamp, I give you the following: Von Pein-in-the Ass opines: "So, per some conspiracy theorists, Oswald enters the theater prior to 1:10 PM CST. He then decides to leave the theater a little while later and loiter for a few seconds in Johnny Brewer's storefront. And then Oswald goes BACK INTO the same theater he just exited. "Repeat after me --- That's crazy!" To which Swamp Moderator Pat Speer responds: "Please edit your comment, David. We're trying to keep the ridicule to a minimum. Something like 'That sounds pretty silly to me!' should suffice." Conditions at The Swamp have deteriorated to the point at which sarcasm has become indistinguishable from courtesy. Not to mention inevitable. |
