Bloody Treason: The Assassination of John F. Kennedy - Greg Burnham - 07-12-2012

I had the pleasure of spending the day with David Mantik and Noel Twyman today. The last time the three of us were together (at the same time) was in 2001 when we presented our respective work, along with Jim Fetzer, at the Encinitas Conference. Noel remains sharp as ever, a real gem, and a wealth of information. And of course David is a good friend and colleague. The meeting was most constructive. There will be more to come, stay tuned.

For those who do not yet have Noel's book, Bloody Treason, (and even for those who do), it is available in electronic form (E-book) on Amazon for only $9.99! I know that many folks were unable to afford the $37.50 price tag when it was released in hardback. Today it sells for $393.00 (new) and $129.00 (used)! However, this e-book edition is a fantastic source as the pictures are extremely clear and typos have been corrected along with a few very minor items. Don't misunderstand: This is not a sales pitch! It is an opportunity...

David asked Noel: "Would you recant anything you wrote in the book?"

Noel replied: "Not a thing."

That is quite remarkable for a 600+ page book.

I add my voice to yours, Monk, in the chorus of praise for Bloody Treason -- and for its author's courage and convictions. I well remember the day when I purchased two hot-off-the-presses copies, knowing full well that one quickly would become thoroughly marked up with underlinings and marginal notes.

The other, pristine, rests comfortably on the top shelf of one of my JFK-dedicated bookcases.

Since then, I've come to care for George Michael Evica's copy. His own notes on the text are priceless, and he always spoke very highly of Noel.

BTW Charles: David says hello to you!

Checking the receipt, we did pay 37.50, which calculates to 12.50 per each of the three front-to-back readings, not to mention countless referrals.

For example, the illustration on 111 of Exhibit 10-12. Contents of Evidence Envelope. This photo of TWO shells is utilized by Barry Krusch in Part One of Impossible: The Case Against Lee Harvey Oswald. Two, not three, empty shells, making the lone gunman in the nest a blown hangout.

A fascinating conference with Twyman, Mantik and Ryan re Zapruder forgery.

A study of Ruby's activities culminating with the observation on 271:

We start with November 12 and 13 when Ruby met his old friend and racketeer, Al Gruber--mob killer--and another mob hit man, Paul R. Jones, in Dallas over a two-week period. The three hadn't been together since 1947, and Al Gruber hadn't had contact with Ruby for the preceding ten years.

During this same two-week period, Ruby phoned another mob hit man, Lennie Patrick, in Chicago. And on November 17, Ruby took a trip to Las Vegas where he met Lewis McWillie, yet another mob hit man and contact of Santo Trafficante, Jr., in Tampa, Florida. The relationship of Ruby and McWillie went back to the days when Trafficante ran gambling casinos in Cuba, before Castro took over.

So here we have Jack Ruby, in addition to his frenzy of telephone calls to Mafia figures all over the United States, having personal meetings with mob hit men shortly before the assassination of John Kennedy.

An excellent chart of Ruby's calls [size=12]on 251: associates of Trafficante, Hoffa, Giancana, Marcello, Cos[size=12]tello.

The book is a compendium undertaken with the clarity and thoroughness of an engineer, a joy to experience, a sorrow to complete.

Hen[size=12]ce the necessity to periodically do it all again.

I haven't read the book but from your excerpt here you make it seem like Ruby was deeply enmeshed within the Italian Mafia, while ignoring Ruby's very real connection with Meyer Lansky's Jewish rackets.

Is there any mention that Ruby's pal Lewis McWillie was a pit boss at Lansky's Tropicana Hotel in the late 1950's? Or that at the time of the assassination McWillie was employed at the Thunderbird Casino in Las Vegas, owned by Meyer and Jake Lansky?

What about the fact that Al Gruber, who reappeared in Ruby's life just prior to the assassination, worked for Mickey Cohen--the Lansky appointed West Coast successor to Bugsy Seigel. Or that Cohen's longtime friend and attorney Melvin Belli emerged as Jack Ruby's defense attorney after he killed Oswald.

Also Lawrence Meyers, who met up Ruby at the Cabana the night before the assassination, and his links to Ero Corporation, which was investigated by the FBI for its links to a Corporation making illegal arms shipments to Israel.

You can't dress Ruby up as a mafioso. He was Jewish, and his mob links were Jewish.

I know you like to airbrush this fact.

By the weight of the evidence, then, we must conclude that Italy was a Sponsor of the assassination.

Thus a third and fourth SBT (to go along with the SINGLE BULLET THEORY and Fetzer's SHIRT BULLSHIT THEORY) are born:

The SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE THEORY.

The SORRY BUBALA THEORY.

Just as bogus, created and promoted by exactly the same forces, for exactly the same reasons.

Ciao, Giovanni!

I know I'll regret this but....

What are you talking about?

Nothing to regret, bubala.

I would have been devastated if you hadn't asked.
