Gladio B: Gladio Revisited - Lauren Johnson - 02-02-2013 Gladio B: Gladio Revisited - Peter Lemkin - 02-02-2013 Yes, important to be aware that 'Gladio-like' programs if not Gladio itself is 'alive and well' still doing evil to provoke fear and tension of the enemy du jour. I don't believe NATO has ever admitted to its existence. Important also is the fact that it predates NATO and was only subsumed by it and perhaps some other organizations. The operations were secret and supported by black bugets. The idea is that this was an effective means to acheive the objectives of the *empire*... ooops I meant free market unfettered capitalism. Democracies are meant to not interfere with other nations. But that does not suit the corps who want at their resources, and cheap labor markets and consumers to dump their junk. Nations which had subsistence aggrarian economies were changed into industrial models which required machinery. fuels, persitcide and export crops... forcing the locals to buy (spend) in the capitalist economy for products coming from offshore. Similar approaches were forced for energy and raw materials.... which were provided to transnational corps for a few fat bribes. Gladio was part of the cold war strategy to prevent *communism* from taking hold in capitalist countries... where there were leftist parties participating in the democratic process in Italy. To get rid of the "threat" they *radicals* were infiltrated into the left and engaged in violence, bombing, assassination and drove the public to demand more state security and destruction of leftist terrorim. The infiltration and use of "false flag terrorism" was successful beyond the wildest dreams of the right. Working with radicals and terrorists has continued to be the main operations model for the CIA and intel. They train, arm, infiltrate and inspire/plan facilitate terrorism which can then be the basis for increasing the power of the national security state, ceasing power and installing puppets as heads of state around the world. Black ops has deposed many goverments in Latin American and they are working to reshape the ME and the Causcuses using the same tactics. Blacks ops is the dirty secret of the US *democracy*. It's been going on for 6 decades and growing. All of this has been exposed by people such as Philip Agee back in the 70s. Why would anyone be shocked or surprized by the illegality of the CIA? It (and the FBI) is sanctioned to act unlawfully (as need be) by the US government and only pays lips service to any laws - national or international. We are a nation of the lawless! Jeffrey - there are hundreds of pages of information and analysis about Gladio on DPF. Your analysis is plain wrong. Gladio has very little to do with the CIA. You ask: Why would anyone be shocked or surprized by the illegality of the CIA? It (and the FBI) is sanctioned to act unlawfully (as need be) by the US government and only pays lips service to any laws - national or international. This is wrong on every level. Firstly, if we are not shocked by illegality, then we have lost our moral compass. Secondly, again, Gladio has very little to do with the CIA or FBI. Thirdly, governments robustly proclaim that they control intelligence operations, and conduct them ethically, within the Rule of Law, according to national security objectives. The blowing up of civilians and the attribution of such an atrocity to a "bogey man" group is a crime against humanity, and must continue to be viewed as such. If you want to debate the meaning and nature of Gladio on the Deep Politics Forum, kindly perform some due diligence and research first. The subject is too important to be subject to facile and ill-informed interpretations. Gladio B: Gladio Revisited - Jeffrey Orling - 05-04-2013 Jan, Of course people always should be upset by criminality. My point was this is exactly what the CIA and various intel groups engage in all the time. The idea was that (I believe) the US required intelligence about what their adversaries were doing and so CIA was born for that purpose. But it's mission changed and it was given the green light to engage in operations... which were of course illegal activities and had black budgets and were meant to be kept secret. I am aware of the *stay behind* stuff and the tension concept. Gladio was a right wing terrorist op targeting the left and using false flags and patsies in service to their agenda of advancing power of the state. It pretty much destroyed the communists in Italy. Do you have any opinion of the Gladio Part B? Gladio B: Gladio Revisited - Phil Dragoo - 05-04-2013 In the American Judas Part Three is a reference to Bugliosi as though the latter weren't a steaming pile, a not insignificant marker. Regarding American Judas' distillation of Part One: Turkey was always the most important operation center of Gladio before the fall of the Soviet Union. Godfathers or Babas ran drugs, NATO, running operation Gladio, took them out of prison and used them for drug running, false-flag operations, assassination. Such a man was Abdullah Çatlı who was removed from prison in a NATO helicopter, shunted through London to Chicago, sent to Azerbaijan to assassinate Aliyev who survived and switched allegiance from the Russians to the West. In 1996 Çatlı was killed in a major car crash in Susurluk, Turkey, in a car with the chief of police, a powerful member of Parliament, and Çatlı's lover a former beauty queen. We of course think: Diana. (Just as Dealey evolves from Heydrich.) Gladio takes the course of using Islamist Mujahadeen assets such as Fethullah Gulen set up with twenty billion dollars, 350 mosques and madrassahs which require English language proficiency and provide members with diplomatic passports. No one with familiarity with the George Michael Evica, A Certain Arrogance, or Gerard Colby and Charlotte Dennett, Thy Will Be Done: The Conquest of the Amazon: Nelson Rockefeller and Evangelism in the Age of Oil can miss the echo of Dulles' use of Unitarians, Friends, Bible translators in the Gladio use of warriors for Allah. Another player in this league, Yusuf Turani, called the president of Turkestan which is the Chinese province of Xinjiang, a recurring splittist problem for the Peoples Republic. FBI does not spy on the four friends of Gladio: Turkey, Azerbaijan, UK, Belgium. The poppy production prospered after the post-911 takeover. Which I thought was the point. Further, the essay frames 911 as a Gladio false-flag. And we are shocked. High-ranking American official Marc Grossman met September 10, 2001, with General Mahmoud Ahmad head of ISI who authorized ISI agent Omar Saeed Sheikh to wire transfer of 100K August 2001 to Mohammad Atta. The essayist claims Grossman (not Armitage or Cheney) outed Plame to protect Gladio, that it cut off her probing of AQ Khan's proliferation. Leading the author to place origins of 911 not in 1972 with BCCI but in 1949 with the Clandestine Planning Committee of NATO, that Gladio originated in the mind of Allen Dulles. With this as an armature we are on firm ground. Understanding of course that the same author will later refer to Bugliosi as an authority. Preparata's Conjuring establishing the role of the director of the Bank of England as helmsman in the critical period 1922-44. That Wilcox (Target: Patton) presented head of British intelligence describing Donovan the new OSS chief "one of ours." The presence of the Nazi beast in the US intelligence apparatus from McCloy's facilitation of Barbie's escape and Angleton's absorption of Gehlen to the erudite fascist Shaw and his role in the great crime of the Twentieth Century. Now comes the Arab Spring with NATO/CIA running MB against a Putin consortium in Syria, and Turani-types v. PRC in Xinjiang. His questionable history suggests he is a lackey of the powers that be. |
