Public Being Denied Access to Critical Meteorological Information? - Charles Drago - 11-02-2013

WEATHER ALERT?

A rather STRONG rumor emerged today from a private source deep inside Rhode Island's emergency management bureaucracy: Meteorologists are watching a pair of storm systems that may coalesce and hit the area later this week or the weekend as the second MAJOR snow event within seven days.

Here's the disquieting part: An unofficial embargo has been placed on this activity. In other words, the media is being told by government to shut up -- to keep vital information from the public.

And the lapdog press -- big surprise -- is doing as ordered.

Feel safer now?
