Weirhere - Keith Millea - 03-04-2013 For my Deadhead brothers and sisters...enjoy I recently discovered this new site/concept from Bob Weir and friends. They do a livestream show every Wednesday at 5:30 PM Pacific standard time (tonight). The website can be found HERE I like the interview with Rosie McGee....Some good old stories. Check it out HERE Rosie in the black dress "Dancing with the Dead" Weirhere - Magda Hassan - 03-04-2013 :humble:Thank you Keith! Weirhere - David Guyatt - 04-04-2013 Very nice Keith. But you're goin' to have to rack it up buddy, if you want to beat this: Weirhere - Jim Hackett II - 04-04-2013 What a find! Niiiiiice.:rockandroll: Weirhere - Keith Millea - 05-04-2013 Well, last nights stream was pretty boring.I think I lasted about 30 minutes and hung it up. There's some big dollars in this studio with all new state of the art electronics but I get the feeling that they need to fiddle with the format. They play a couple of songs and then go sit on the couch and talk. There's just no "flow" happening.Hope it gets better..... Anyways, here is a decent acoustic jam of "Cassidy" from the week prior with the great Steve Kimock on guitar. Quote:Very nice Keith. But you're goin' to have to rack it up buddy, if you want to beat this:Hell yes Peter can play!I had the pleasure of seeing him play live once. That was an outdoor show in Oakland.I think "The Who" played also but I can't really remember now. But Robin Trower was there at that show and Robin Trower just might be the best guitar player there that day. Weirhere - David Guyatt - 05-04-2013 Hi Keith, it's good to hear from you again, too. Although I do tend to take long holidays and bugger of for a month or two at a time, my plans are to hang around. Frampton was playing in Cambridge (not so far away) the Christmas before last, and I wanted to go, but neither my wife, nor sons, wanted to go -- they don't like his music... sad fools. So, I'm jealous that you got to see him. Me, I would've seen him in a shot. |
