Over the years as the month is coming to an end this has happened many time at the site, not so much the last 2-3 years. It has to do with bandwidth, that has been the explanation in past years.

Seems as I recall, this happened frequently, always towards the end of the month. Especially a few years back (a lot of imagery was uploaded to threads). *Exceeded Bandwidth* for the month was the mention, and site was shut down for a day or so, or something like that...

If only it were so....would be Karmic justice for what was done to me [as a moderator - not just a member!] and to many others - and all the bullshit that they allow and promote to go on there [for ratings and to please their 'masters']. Sadly, it is only, as stated, an end-of-the-month overuse of bandwidth. A toxic website that most can't see...but I experienced and those that formed THIS forum sought refuge from. Those who also post there are welcome here, but wake up and smell the taint from 'over there'.......
I note that those posting on this thread are new here and likely not aware of the 'situation' and 'hidden control mechanisms' 'over there at the other Forum'...who's name good DPF members usually never let leave their lips nor fingertips...

yes, and its a bit rough for "outsiders" like me to have to wade through all the childish bickering and things.
The only thing i dont like to see is all those attachments and things over the years deleted. I view the eduforum jfk as a great collection of information a shame to see some of it have to go when this bandwidth thing happens and then do searches and plod through pages of back and forth nonsense! je
