Muchmore: Brake Lights On? - Jeff Carter - 24-08-2013

The reason the limousine slow down is hard to discern in the Zapruder film is because a) there are no figures in the background to serve as a referent b) the limousine is moving left to right and the panning is moving along with it and combined it creates the illusion of steady pace.

One of the clues to seeing the limousine slowing down is to try and follow the pace of the panning camera. Zapruder is doing his best to hold the limousine in the center of the frame. The panning motion doesn't come to a rest, but it does slow in concert with the vehicle.

I have doubts that Greer or Kellerman were "in" on the assassination because both of them turn and look back to their passengers. If they knew what to expect I am not sure they would do that.

All the guys (except Hill) in the follow up car are almost like statues, while some kind of commotion is obviously occurring in front of them.

Captain Fritz, when Oswald gets popped, he is concentrating a bit too hard on the transfer car. Then his delayed reaction after the shot, and bit too phoney "surprise".

And why should we be concerned with "your doubts?" Unless of course, you were invited here to give us your professional opinion(s)?

Oh-btw, did Kennedy get "popped" too? No class Dude.

I think I've wasted enough time on you Gert, er Jeffrey... so .john mcadams, why are you sending the junior varsity to do your bidding? Those of us familiar with alt.conspiracy.jfk know the game being played across the forums these days.

Here it is again. If we don't agree with your doctrines, we will not be accepted in your church. No one should be trying to divide the research community by enforcing "orthodoxy" on any issue.

Albert Rossi Wrote:Whether or not it was intentional, there are a lot of witnesses (see Palamara's article) that speak of a drastic slowdown, near-stop, etc., and they are spread out all over Dealey Plaza. There aren't that many who speak of a full stop. It's hard to know just how hard the braking was. But it certainly looks more accentuated in Muchmore and Nix than in Zapruder -- FWIW.

To me the fact that he hit brakes has to be combined with the departure from standard operating procedure of not scheduling a motorcade making a 90 degree turn. Given that SOP, how can a driver not be highly aware of just how slow the limo is moving.... and THEN he hits the brakes contrary to training? And knowing, as he did, what Dallas was like politically... the most rightwing city on the face of the earth except possibly Glass House in the City of Time-Lifed Angels?

Dude. the researcher community-house IS divided, always has been.... that's what drives lone nuts nutso! Not to mention the fact that progress has been made shredding the 1964 WCR. A divided community focusing on all sorts of relevant issues, coming at WCR supporters from all angles. Great stuff!

Agree completely DH... and whoever this Jeff person is... one must notice he has never addressed any of the many mistakes he posts as facts, or any of the supposed "fun-facts"... he just keeps plowing on as if he is making a point of offering any information on which to build...

If it had been Charles or Jan or Magda or anyone else telling Jeff to cool it already with his vapid posts... we'd be cheering them on and agreeing whole-heartedly.

Jeff has not established a single ounce of credibility... in fact quite the opposite...

Where is the calvary when we need them? He seems to be doing the same thing on a number of these thread all at once...

and the mods are all cool with it...?? He has not backed a single comment with even the smallest amount of supporting evidence... yet FPS differences caused by the spring accounts for super human movements - while ignoring the opposite of HIS presentation... the variance would also cause SLOW MOTION to occur as often as FAST... like the WC these inconvient facts are ignored.

Meanwhile I get scolded for not having a common language or frame of reference of the situation to maintain a decent discussion...
whatever.

I have no problem with us being divided because we disagree about things, but when we're divided because certain people are on a hunt for Heretics - that's a different matter.
