JFK and the Unspeakable: The Graphic Adaptation - John Kelin - 06-09-2013 Hi all, I got a postcard in the mail today (with my last name misspelled) informing me of a new project involving the James W. Douglass book. Looks like it is being adapted to a graphic novel format. Here's more: http://jfkhedieditmatters.com This is the first I've heard of it. I thought readers here might be interested. I will pre-order or pay for the Kickstarter project. JFK and the Unspeakable: The Graphic Adaptation - Jim DiEugenio - 07-09-2013 This is neat. First a play, now this. I just hope this is not all that is in our quiver for the 50th. We'll see. JFK and the Unspeakable: The Graphic Adaptation - Marlene Zenker - 07-09-2013 Jim DiEugenio Wrote:This is neat. Time to preach to a much bigger choir. JFK and the Unspeakable: The Graphic Adaptation - Peter Lemkin - 07-09-2013 Yes, but will it be a made-for-TV mini-series?....not a chance....unless on some obscure internet feed. It needs to be made into a film, IMO, for more general viewing. Anything to get that MOST EXCELLENT book in front of more people is welcome! If a graphic novel works for those who don't read real books, so be it.
JFK and the Unspeakable: The Graphic Adaptation - John Mooney - 07-09-2013 Graphic novels are great. A picture paints a thousand words. If you're ever struggling with Shakespheare, get a graphic novel. There's one for A Midsummer Nights Dream I read recently that is brilliant. I already have JFk and the Unspeakable but I'm tempted by this. JFK and the Unspeakable: The Graphic Adaptation - Dawn Meredith - 07-09-2013 Great idea....THis link was sent to me by Mike Hogan...I had not ever heard of this project. http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/2013/01/what-couldve-been-dan-goldman-shows-off-adaptation-of-jfk-assassination-book/ Thanks Mike and hope to see you in Dallas. JFK and the Unspeakable: The Graphic Adaptation - Charles Drago - 07-09-2013 This seems to be a double-edged sword. As a means to reach the "new American reader," it's quite promising. By the same token, count on it being trivialized along the lines of "a comic book -- perfectly suited for conspiracy theorist 'intellectuals'."
