Oswald's Game Eviscerated at CTKA - Jim DiEugenio - 13-08-2014

Jean Davison is so hyperactive at JFK Facts, and her lousy book is actually admired by Von Pein and McAdams. So I decided to go back and reread it.

Its even worse today in light of the new files and research.

Nothing but a cover up book about Oswald and Marguerite.

Today it looks like a pile of junk. How anyone can take this woman seriously eludes me. It doesn't look like she left her living room or picked up the phone once to write her lousy book.

I hate those kinds of writers, writers who do nothing but cherry pick previous sources to arrive at a preconceived conclusion. Here its Oswald killed JFK for Castro.

Oh really Jean? Was this before or after the Castroite left Banister's office?

It's really a great service you perform. You read the crap so that we don't have to. Thanks Jim.

BTW, 'Reclaiming Parkland' is 'state-of-the-art', just like Oliver Stone said. Fantastic effort and essential reading.

Thanks so much Marc.

I remember reading her book a long time ago. Has anyone ever read Jim Moore's book CONSPIRACY OF ONE? Worst lone-nutter book of all time. Moore is probably the only person in the world who thinks JFK hasn't been wounded when we see him raising his hands to his throat in the Z-film. In the photo section he describes Frame 228: "Most researchers believe Kennedy is reacting to his first wound here. Instead, the President is responding in fright to a first, missed shot." "The President's hands are rising to cover his face and Governor Connally is reacting to the sound of the shot."

Maybe we need to collate a book list of all the stinkers that have been published and pushed. A community service to save the uninitiated and time poor a lot of bother.

Oswald's Game Eviscerated at CTKA - Drew Phipps - 13-08-2014

Would the list of stinkers be a list of poorly researched or derivative works, or would it be a list of Lone Nut books?

(There would be some overlap, obviously)

Oswald's Game Eviscerated at CTKA - Albert Doyle - 13-08-2014

Completely overlap IMO...

Oswald's Game Eviscerated at CTKA - Tracy Riddle - 14-08-2014

There are lots of mediocre-to-bad conspiracy books out there, but I'm not going to make a list because I don't want to encourage further dissension in the research community.

Oswald's Game Eviscerated at CTKA - Jim DiEugenio - 16-08-2014

There are a lot of bad books on the case on the conspiracy side also.

Like Ultimate Sacrifice, and LBJ: Mastermind of the JFK Assassination to name just two. And we have criticized them at CTKA.

So we don't play favorites. A bad pro-conspiracy book to me can be as bad as a Warren Commission apologia.

Why I did this one is because Jean Davison is so loud and arrogant at JFK Facts. Plus, McAdams and Von Pein think she is a serious person and her book deserves respect.

Well, baloney. Her book is a joke from chapter one all the way to the end. As i showed, its a cover up book all the way. She could not have missed some of the things she did not include. Plus, she never left her house to do any research. So there is nothing new in her text.

Its a 95 % rehash of Epstein, PJM and the WC. ANd the stuff she throws in to give it a twist for Castro is so weak its transparent camouflage.

But I will say this: besides McAdams and Von Pein, there is one other person who liked it. Drumroll please:

David Phillips.

When he was trying to convince Bugliosi to write a book on the JFK case, he recommended two books, Marina and Lee and Oswald's Game.

What does it say when one of the chief suspects in the case likes your book? Also the guy who was running the CIA's anti FPCC program, and therefore was influential in controlling Oswald in the last few months of his life.

In her book, she vouches for Phillips' story about Oswald meeting Kostikov and a missing tape in which Oswald tried to make a deal by exchanging information for a trip to Russia. She actually says this sounded like Oswald. (p. 209)

Oh really Jean? When the voice on the tapes was someone else?

Who can takes this woman or her book seriously? Well, David Phillips of course.

Oswald's Game Eviscerated at CTKA - Tracy Riddle - 16-08-2014

Does anyone know much about Jean Davison's background? There is an anthropologist with that name, and a woman who wrote a book about mental illness -

I don't know if they're all the same person.
