The permanent government loses patience with the transient in the White House - Paul Rigby - 27-01-2015 The revolt of the CFR:Out with the brothers and sisters, in with the WASPs and dual nationals... Washington is in Revolt Against Obama by Thierry Meyssan Translation by Roger Lagassé VOLTAIRE NETWORK | DAMASCUS (SYRIA) | 26 JANUARY 2015 http://www.voltairenet.org/article186543.html The crisis gripping the US state apparatus is directly threatening the survival of the Empire. This is no longer merely the opinion of Thierry Meyssan, but the subject that is shaking the ruling class in Washington to the point that the honorary president of the Council on Foreign Relations is demanding the resignation of the chief advisers of President Obama and the appointment of a new team. This clash has nothing to do with a typical opposition of Democrats and Republicans, nor even with that of the doves / hawks. What is at stake is leadership in the United States and NATO. Quote:For several months now, I've been noting that there is no foreign policy in Washington, but two factions that oppose each other in all things and separately conduct contradictory and inconsistent policies. The permanent government loses patience with the transient in the White House - Magda Hassan - 27-01-2015 Excellent article and the future doesn't look good if they get their way. The permanent government loses patience with the transient in the White House - Lauren Johnson - 27-01-2015 Ever the skeptic, I wonder how much this revolt is in fact a "revolt," prescripted and planned. This kinda of reminds me of the end of the Clinton administration when the cry went out for the "adults" who knew what they were doing to get back in the drivers seat. As the blessed Monica once remarked. I suspect we will all have to suck it and see. The permanent government loses patience with the transient in the White House - R.K. Locke - 28-01-2015 Isn't Susan Rice a member of the CFR? And who does Valerie Jarrett actually work for? The permanent government loses patience with the transient in the White House - David Guyatt - 28-01-2015 It's great to see such a conflict taking place. Blimey, bring back Richard Armitage! The mind boggles. Ditto Winston Lord and Frank Wisner. And yes, of course Obama should "implement regular consultation with John McCain." Not. And yes, Obama really should surround himself with people utterly dedicated to the big business and the war party - and who have absolutely no allegiance to him, but who will work behind his back undermining anything he tries to do that conflicts with their deeper agenda. Of course he should. Isn't this in effect, a battle between common sense and the "war party"? Isn't this also part of the story why Netanyahu snubbed Obama and went to Washington breaching protocol? This rather sounds to me that the CFR and big business aren't getting their complete and utter way when it comes to foreign policy, as the usually do (and expect), and don't like it. If this is the case, then I do like it. The permanent government loses patience with the transient in the White House - Tracy Riddle - 28-01-2015 Dov Zakheim. Well, why not? :hock:: |
