The Lincoln assassination of course was never properly investigated. And by the way, back in the nineties, Michael Beschloss was supposed to be
writing a book about it. His track record is mixed. While doing some research in Portland, Maine, I found
a detailed eyewitness account of the Lincoln assassination in an old newspaper (early 1900s, in an obituary), and sent him a copy. I included a note saying,
"I hope you don't write the Warren Report of the Lincoln assassination." I haven't heard back from him.
